Fluffyfowls (poyoboyouwu)

Fluffylectryon:

  • more commonly known as fluffyfowls (easier to pronounce and spell)
  • based on the hippalectryon
  • front half fluffy pony
  • back half bird (specifically galliformes [chickens, peafowls, swans, ducks, geese, etc])
  • omnivores like normal fluffies
  • prefers whole grain pasta for sketties
  • can’t fly but can glide
  • chicken variant are typically used to collect eggs for consumption since the eggs contain higher protein than chicken eggs
  • basically just fluffies but with a cloaca
  • known to preen
  • due to their lack of teats, the mother chews up food and spits it into her youngs’ mouths until their teeth come in
  • mother sits on eggs to keep warm and safe until they hatch which is usually 14 days
  • always have wings but some also may have horns (only Pegasuses and Alicorns)
  • about the same intelligence as a normal fluffy
  • the cannibal-fluffy/hunter friend counterpart is made of raptor or birds of prey dna (aka Flufftors [name is a work in progress])
  • can be bred to be colorful/unnatural bird plumage/feather color or natural depending on usage and/or preference
  • hatchling chicks lose their fluff and grow feathers in about the three week period
  • bones are more brittle due to their bones being hollow like birds so they are more fragile than the average fluffy
  • uses there hind legs/talons for defense/combat which is effective towards other fluffyfowls/fluffies, though it doesn’t do much damage to humans and only leaves red markings for a short while and doesn’t hurt (like when you would scratch a part of your body when itchy)
  • size varies depending on what bird species the fluffyfowl is mixed with

(I’m still working on the bread fluffies, ADHD be making me do side projects that randomly pop up in my head so I forget about it from time to time)

Do they have down like chicks? Chicks are ridiculously soft and puffy.

Huh, first time in a long time I’ve seen a new subspecies I didn’t hate. I mean, is this blowing me away? No, not especially. But it’s a neat idea that’s still recognizably fluffy. And that is appreciated.

Can’t wait for some Kentucky Fried Fluffowls.

Oooo, and if there are micro variants, someone would give 'em the fathenfarms treatment.

I’d say it depends on the breed so yes a quail fluffy would be smaller than a chicken fluffy

Yes they do

Could they be used as a chicken substitute

Absolutely! They are like chickens but aren’t protected by the Animal Welfare Act so the are good for easy money in bulk both for their eggs and lower half-meat though if the product is to be sold professionally, it would have to state that the eggs and meat is from a fluffyfowl.

gonna see a lot of scammers say its chicken meat

I’m definitely making micro variants. Maybe even aquatic variants like ducks and swans but idk about that one. Definitely micros though and cannibals
