first post on here! and I’m glad to join this contest! i’m crossposting this from reddit where I posted it previously, so here is the body of “lore” behind these fucked up bastards i concocted lol. hope you all enjoy. SO: this came from an idea of a fluffy servitor, that went crazy.
"the FluffyHunter was a department of agriculture funded experiment, made by the company “Tiger Cybertronics” a subsidiary of Hasbio. Thought the first failure and it’s prototypes are lost behind red tape and bureaucratic nonsense. however- this is the fate of the deeper knowledge of the mark II production model.
the FH:MK ii is a bio tool made for the express purpose of hunting down it’s pestilent forebearers. made from the basis of the standard hasbio fluffy itself, with added material taken from an unknown variety of predatory animals. The FH is made by first artificially growing a fully matured fluffyhunter and upon full growth they are subjected to a series of invasive surgeries. Legs, organs, and portions of the spine are removed, and multiple parts are added.
the back hip is replaced by a Hyundai robotics servo unit, which connects to the forearms’ internal control unit as well. the coils of wiring connect to the spine, neural network plugs, and BTC module plugins.
the BTC or Back mounted Technical Controller, allows the organism to interface with it’s controller in the field and with other FH’s. this computerized controller also allows the organism to send a distress call if it succumbs to mortal injury.
it’s heart is replaced by a motorized pump, and the stomach is substituted by a grinder, similar to a garbage disposal that connects to it’s small intestine.
waste is collected by service staff after each field operation.
the neoprene bodysuit serves basic comfort needs for the organism. unlike the leg covers, which are added to hide the in-house model legs. these are a company secret.
the final part that is the most recognizable of any FH is it’s polished titanium plated helmet. made of carbon fiber and high density foam, it protects the FH’s head and serves as a battering ram to the aide in pursuit.
FH’s are extraordinarily friendly to humans, and are in the works to be sold as a consumer item in the next 5 years, bearing further testing and study. they are conditioned to have an irrational and simmering hatred of their prey. For months on end they are made to subsist on live fluffies, which they are forced to hunt in a intricate maze that Tiger advertises in it’s publicity material as “sorrybox one”. after a year, the Fluffyhunter is ready to do it’s job. come rain or shine, they will eliminate their pastel quarry. Nothing brings them a great sense of purpose and joy than hunting fluffies. Except for fluffies with “sensitive baby syndrome” this cannot be explained by research staff."
