(More seriously, I doubt a batfluff (or is it fluffbat?) would be worth eating, even if domesticated. But I admit I haven’t researched the eating of bats and am just guessing.)

Thankee. I’ve seen bat fluffs in other works as well but wanted to see how mixing more “realistic” elements in their design and genetic makeup would look like. I love @Guodzilla 's more insect-like flutter fluffs whose wings can support a small insect but wouldn’t realistically work with a small mammal. So taking that into account I decided to go more heavily into the bat/flying squirrel aspects.

Depends on the size. Some southern hemisphere bats have been known to grow to large enough sizes where you can feasibly harvest/farm meat off of them.
