The expression she has in that first panel just kills me. She looks so pathetically serious with her eyes like ಠ.ಠ and her jaw set and cheeks puffed out, squatting in that position. Like in her head this is about to be an epic battle where she’ll get some badass scars to show off how much she loves Babbeh, and beat down the dummeh wingie munstah in the end because good always wins.
And then she just dies because the bird doesn’t give a shit, lol.
I especially love that she assumed it was going to snatch Babbeh, and it snatched her instead with Babbeh just coming along as a coincidence.
