Microphone and external speakers? The container must be fairly well insulated, or the fluffy would freeze even with a heater, so I’m not sure how well people would be able to hear the foal singing without amplification.
But yeah, your version is equally plausible. Maybe there are cheap versions (where the foal gets depressed and stops singing after a while) and expensive versions where the fluffy sings to itself, oblivious to the outside world?
