I’m almost halfway done with the next comic to that comic I made, it’ll take time though, and on this I was experimenting with backgrounds (I want to flesh out my art style more xd)

There’s some good potential here - unfed ticks can be pretty small, so a fluffy could end up covered in them without realising and wondering why they’re constantly so itchy
I just thought the fat ticks looked gross so I wanted them to look fat
nasty, lol. Kind of surprising that fluffy parasites aren’t a more common feature of the community… it seems like ferals, nasty as they are, are dealing more frequently with hunger than with disease and parasites.
Their names should be Lemon and Lyme
Thought those were burrs till I saw the title.
They usually don’t live enough to have parasites, or parasites prefer better hosts I guess
I started a series on parasites and diseases, I’ll finish it eventually.

pretty sure you’d only need half that many ticks to completely exsanguinate a foal…
