You get your dagger unstuck from the dwarf horse’s head and clean the blood that is in your dagger and hands with the dwarf horse’s fur, the huu huu continues from the hallway and is making you uneasy, your mouth is dry and your stomach growls with hunger but you want to make sure that at least the hallway where something could be is clean.

With your hands and dagger somewhat clean you make your way into the huu huu hallway, you’re scared because you don’t know what might be there but deep in your mind you feel like you were going there fully knowing of what will be there.
Your Energy Light illuminates a small portion of the hallway in front of you, there’s nothing suspicious or dangerous other than the sound you heard before, you start advancing.
The walls are decaying and look more deteriorated as you go deeper into the hallway, the ground is becoming more rough and there’s a scent of rot in the air, your Energy Light is being disturbed by something, it fades at times or weaves… Instability.
You pass many doors but don’t check any of them, the source of the sound is at the end of the hallway, a door that looks like being really reinforced when this place was still maintained, now the wood is rotting and the metal is rusting away, there is a small hole at the bottom that was obviously made and isn’t part of the door’s decay.
You try to open the door but it just falls when you push it making a loud noice and raising a cloud of old dust, you wait for it to settle a bit and you go in the room, when your nose is no longer full of dust you are hit with a horrible rotting smell and you see a scene that would make you puke if you had something in your stomach to do so.
Lots of multicolored dwarf horses beaten to death, bitten and gutted lay in the ground, one of these dwarf horses seems tougher than the others but ran with the same luck, it’s in the middle of a ritual circle with it’s front legs spread wide open and somehow nailed to the hard stone ground, it’s hind legs are one over the other both nailed by a single long nail, chunks of its fur and mane are missing.
Around it in the same ritual circle there are 4 smaller dwarf horses, probably foals with their heads stomped to flatness and with the missing fur and mane of the central horse aside them, there is some furniture around that looks surprisingly well conserved, the sound comes from under a drawer.
What will you do?
- Go straight where the sound is coming from to see what is there
- Analyze the circle to see if you can learn something
- Get out of the room and check the other rooms ignoring the sound
- Return checking nothing and try to attend to your needs
