This is my first fluffy drawing. Does anyone have any tips to make the mane and tail look better?

I like the sad eyes on your fluffy. As far as tips on the mane, I recommend studying and attempting to draw from pictures real hair, especially how it interacts with what it comes into contact with or how it hangs freely otherwise
Everything about it looks like a very particular kind of Tim Burton inspired grim indie game. I like it. As for the hair, it’s not my strong suit but I’d just break it up by having it kind of veer off into other paths and points if that makes sense.
And add some lines in the hair too
For flat hair like that I’d do something like this
