Interesting concept. How long would it take for them to develop temperature regulation?
Never ?
Damn, that’s bleak, lol. I was wondering if people could breed for that, but oh well. People crochet for hairless cats and dogs all the time!
Give it a blankie laced with chemicals that irritates the skin like crazy
it’s called wool
Exactly as I imagined it
I imagine furless fluffies being a humane alternative for people who want tattooed pets. A cat or a dog doesn’t deserve all that pain
We are not wishing any pain to a cat, dog or any other living being. But for fluffies? Your imagination is the limit for inflicting pain.
If they’re like sphinx cats, they can’t regulate their body temps. There’s a reason those sweethearts wear clothes.
Depends on the type of wool, as well as allergies. High-quality merino is nearly as soft as silk, and even babies can wear it against their skin. Cheviot, however, is wonderfully durable, and has a beautifully long staple, but it’s hella coarse. If you’re allergic, though, even the finest merino can feel like barbed wire. (I’m allergic to cashmere, which is from a goat rather than a sheep, and the one time I put on a cashmere sweater, I thought I was going to die of itch. I ripped it over my head, in tears.)
Hell, I knit and crochet for my furry kitties! They are not impressed.
lol, understandable. I have knit and crochet clothes for my dog in the past; they don’t fit her anymore but she was cute all the same!
The only thing waiting for a hairless fluffy is a miserable life
Man I love this, now you can use him to practice tattoos
i’m a knitter so, yeah, all that
Interesting concept.
Promise it that its fur will grow in when it’s a good fluffy, and no matter how perfect it is, you tell it that it must not be good enough as its fur still hasn’t grown.
