That’s a pretty badass monster, which raises the question, why is it bothering to lure the fluffy when it could just chase the fluffy down? Maybe it just likes screwing with fluffies.

They’re blind and generally use smell and sound to find prey, so chasing after a bunch of shit spewing and shrieking fluffies would confuse it too much. But they are just intelligent enough to be cruel so it’s part fucking with them and part them being ambush predators.
