lmao that miserable old fluffy at the end, nice work
Interesting take on the fluffy lore
Not so many authors touch this idea of the bioluminicent fluffys and you make a really good work on it.
You give them a characteristic that makes them likable to humans but at the same time a negative effect because of it´s origin. This fluffys tent to live longer but at the cost of not having any hugs or love from his peers or humans.
Love it!
Avoided by predators, but rejected by normal fluffies because they’ll attract predators.
Fluffies are their own worst enemy hahaha
disregard that, I suck cocks
Thanks. I allways liked the “experimental biotoy” part of fluffies. I think it has a lot of potential for fun little concepts.
I could still see some breeders taking an interest in the glowing fluffies- just have to be sure to handle them properly with heavy, sting-resistant gloves and keep them away from normal fluffies. Artificial insemination would be a must, as well as probably keeping them in a darker than average safe room, to better show off their glow.
Needless to say, they would beyond a doubt still be miserable, lonely and afraid in the dark for the majority of their lives. Let alone what would happen if a mummah glowing fluffy had normal fluffy babbehs who would scree and cry whenever she would try to give them huggies.
That is a very interesting idea. I tought about a story where someone was breeding them using gloves, but the hairs in the airt etc. ended up causing problems.
Them being “stored” in darkness is a good point though.
Time to get the petting glove / hug suit… ~sighs~
Aaaawwww :'3
Shut up… ~imagines these guys velcro’d to various clothing types allowing for easy transportation~ xD
Me too! The idea of a being that was created to be just a toy but at the same time talks and has biological need is crazy. And of course, I love and hate how the fluffys make the reader wants them to take care of them or take their time to prolong their sufferment.
Probably the thing I hate from fluffys is that they are not natural… like… they don´t do the things they do because of instict, is because they were programmed too.
And also the fact that they can be really shitty with they peers and with humans, feeling themself superior while they are at the lowest of the food chain.
Some of your stuff is in @Archivist’s gallery, btw. I thought you were a tracer because I recognized your style and couldn’t figure out who the hell you were lol. ;-; Nice to have another Booru talent back.
i like ones that lean into the whole" chimera" aspect of them.
Glo-fluffies might have a unique use for population control measures. With the right training, they could be used to scare ferals and forcibly herd them into collection zones for easy capture and disposal. The glowing fluffies get treats and reinforcements from the humans and they won’t mentally deteriorate as they can socialize with their fellow herders.
I can also see them being used as a yellow canary sort of things in mines or spelunking. Send it down a direction with a camera and see if it dies or makes it back.
