Genuinely surprised that there aren't any stories about Fluffies getting caught in a tsunami

I mean, a Fluffy’s trademark weakness is “Wawa”. I’m shocked nobody thought of it before. I searched tsunami in the search bar and there was nothing.

Like, you know how one of the warning signs of a tsunami is how the tide pulls back really really far, leaving the beach exposed? Imagine Fluffies living by the ocean wondering where the Wawa went, maybe celebrating, maybe going out in droves to investigate, then boom, tsunami. And there’s a sea fluffy laughing at the drowning Fluffies because Wawa doesn’t hurt him, but he gets whalloped by debris.

On a related note, I think the Fluffy natural disaster genre is severely lacking. Volcanoes, avalanches, earthquakes, I’d enjoy reading about the little fuzzballs going through those. I do enjoy mostly hugbox content but I also watch a shit ton of disaster movies. There ARE two tornado Fluffy stories I can think of thankfully.

I watched a documentary about Mt Saint Helens last night which is what brought this all to mind.

Can always write the story yourself, be the first person to make that tag.

Yeah I might. Eventually. Once the Writer’s Block is over.

It’s because an average summer rainstorm IS a tsunami to a fluffy.
Its much funnier to see them dying en masse to falling in a pool than drowning in a flood.
It adds to the whole, pathetic helpless shit pig archtype.

A fluffy somehow surviving one of these , getting seperated and trying to find its owner sounds like some good sadbox content or have a nice hugbox ending

Or a owner and fluffy in the face of one

You could always watch clips of disaster movies for inspiration. I was gonna watch the tsunami scenes from Deep Impact, The Day After Tomorrow, San Andreas, The Poseidon Adventure etc

Ok what about a micro fluffy terrarium with immersive artificial natural disasters, like sudden floods, tsunamis, volcanic eruption, etc…

Deathproofpony did a thing about Hurricane Sandy and seafluffs, but the suffering of those fluffies was from an angry human rather than from drowning.
