I’m just thinking like… Dr Maggie feels responsibility for all fluffies. Fluffies exist because she was too shy and awkward to make friends as a child. And she sees their suffering and wants to fix it. So she’s trying fix fluffy pony brains and maybe people will stop hurting them. Maybe if she fixes their brains, they wont fall into horrific “wan die” loops.
But the theme of glimmer, is you cant fix it, it will only make it worse. So the innate, programmed knowledge that fluffies are made for hugs and love, and that a good mummah loves all her babies, well … that’s what makes the abuse so much more horrible. Fluffies know they dont deserve to suffer.

I have to wonder what the unintended negative side effects the vaccines had on the fluffys. Knowing the Glimmer universe its probably not good.
To make computing components that tiny they’d have to be crystal based and not terribly effected by emp or radiation.
