Happy Thoughts Part 1 [by SilverOwl]

Happy Thoughts Part 1: [by SilverOwl]

In the countryside of Montana, is a small house with a chimney that gently puffs wood burned smoke into crystal blue air. The sky is usually clear with white clouds occasionally blocking the golden sun. The countryside is usually warm, with gentle cool rainfall that feels nice on a warm summer day, and in general is a fluffy paradise. The house is surrounded by fields, full of wild flowers, and scattered around the front and back yard are bouncie-castles with toys, and playground equipment. It is a fluffy paradise, where a fluffy named Sunshine, her special friend Rocket, and their foals run and play all day. At night they all sleep in warm fluffy beds but only after they have eaten their fill of “sketties” and watched FluffyTV and danced. The entire fluffy family feels love, contentment, and fortunate to have such a wonderful home with a loving daddy.

Sunshine is a happy mummah with four beautiful foals, and more on the way making her also a “soon mummah”. She is bright yellow, with an orange mane and tail. She feels like the luckiest fluffy “der eba wuz” in her mind. She has the " bestest swepcial fwrend", “gud babehs”, and “gud tummeh babehs”. She has a nice field to run and play in, a nice warm “housie”, and “sketties” every night. Her daddy loves her very much and always buys her toys and makes sure she smells pretty. The saferoom she lives in is huge, with toys, games, and dance areas with Fluffy Dance TV playing all the time. It is obvious that her daddy spends all of his time, energy, and money on his fluffy family and a FluffyMart credit card.

It’s a bright sunny day, and Sunshine is running through a field full of wild flowers with her four foals. Her babies include a bright red unicorn colt, a powder blue pegasus colt, a bright orange unicorn mare, and a pink mare with a rainbow mane. Knowing fluffies, one would think the orange unicorn mare would be the “bestest babeh”, as usually fluffies assign that title to their foals that look like them, but not Sunshine. She is a good mummah that “wubs all babehs all da same” because they are all “gud babehs”. All of her foals are desirable colors, but it was obvious from her mentality, she would have loved them even if they were poopie foals. Sunshine was genuinely a good mother, not selfish, and loved her foals unconditionally. She laughs and shouts “Mummah is da bestest at huggie tag! Mummah gonna catch ou babbehs!” as she chases her foals in the wild flowers. Catching one she says, “Sunshwine hab da bestest baybehs eba!” as she nuzzled them. She played huggie tag with them chasing them through flowers, catching one, and giving them love and affection. She would play blocks with them and "teach them to be good smart fluffies with “bwockies”. She taught them everything there was to being a fluffy, which consisted of using the litter-box, eating all their food, and listening to daddy. Her instructions weren’t hard, their daddy provided a big litter-box for them kept fresh and smelling nice, gave them delicious sketties, and asked them for a lot of hugs. Sunshine was a great mother and deserved all the happiness she had.

Sunshine’s special friend, Rocket was a silver unicorn with a rainbow mane. He would tell Sunshine everyday how much he loved her, and his foals, and would bring her flowers he picked everyday in his mouth as a bouquet. Sunshine always felt loved by Rocket and knew he was a good father and special friend. Neither of them could be happier. He gave her good special “huggies” when they had alone time, and was thoughtful but not a smarty. He was a good father to the foals teaching them what he knew, and keeping them out of harms way, which was not difficult as their daddy had fluffy-proofed the house.

Firebolt is the name of the red unicorn colt, and Neptune is his blue pegasus brother. Both Firebolt and Neptune loved running and playing while chasing each other. They always picked flowers for their two sisters, whom they loved very much. Their sisters were Starburst the pink unicorn mare, and Tangerine the orange mare. The babies were good siblings to each other, polite, and genuinely caring for one another, with words of affection, snuggles, and fluffy gifts usually consisting of colorful or shinny things they would find. They always said thank you to daddy whenever they were given treats, and none of them showed any indication of being smarties. In fluffy speak they really were “gud babehs”.

Daddy was an average sized man who lived alone, and showered his fluffies with all of the love and affection he could show them. To him they weren’t just fluffies or even pets, they were his children and he loved them very much. He made them sketties twice a day, and always had fun “dancie” shows on the “teebee”. Sunshine had “da bestest daddeh eba”, she would quietly muse to herself every evening when presented with a big plate of “sketties”. Every night he would draw up warm bubble baths with float toys and bath soaps that smelled pretty. He made sure all of the fluffies smelled nice and always were entertained, and loved with everything they could ever want.

Weeks of happiness seemed to stretch into months and years of bliss. Sunshine felt better than she had ever felt, having such a loving daddy, good babies, and such a pretty special friend. In fact, she couldn’t remember ever not having all of these things. Was she born into this paradise or does she just not remember. Her tiny fluffy brain thought, and thought but couldn’t come up with anything to explain her past or even if there was one. The sound of her laughing babies shook her out of her thought process and her fluffy brain switched to playing “bwockies” and stacking them for her foals. She sat up as she instructed them “Wook babehs ou take a bwockie an put it on top of anudder bwockie” the foals looked amazed by this “ou smart mummah” and “ou so gud wif bwockies mummah”. Sunshine played with her foals for several hours before they all curled up together in their fluffy nest for the night. Daddy always kept a nightlight on in their saferoom where they slept, on a large luxury fluffy bed with a lot of stuffed toys, and soft pillows. The fluffies all fell asleep in bliss snuggled up with each other, in a warm saferoom, full of toys, with a clean litter-box. Life for a fluffy could not be better.

Sunshine woke up, and was greeted with a bowl of various mixed sugar cereals, with pink marshmallows, and other sugary treats, with chocolate milk. This sugary junk food breakfast was common place but thoroughly enjoyed by the fluffies. She crunched down the sweet sugary cereal, slurped up her chocolate milk, and nibbled on a big pink marshmallow as daddy petted her mane. After breakfast she went outside and played four hours with her foals and Rocket. After several hours they came inside for lunch which was sketties and cupcakes. After a few more hours of playing they came inside for dinner which was pizza and ice cream! All of the fluffies laughed and played for hours through the evening. They played blockies, watched dancie fluffies on FluffyTV, looked at cute baby fluffies on the “FluffyBabeh” show. All of the fluffies even the foals were on the pudgy side for eating so richly but they never thought about being hungry or wanting for anything, they were too busy being in paradise. They all went to sleep that night on a big pile of warm soft pillows, plushes, and blankets.

The next morning after breakfast, Sunshine went outside to enjoy the beautiful day and start playing for the day. Sunshine took a deep breath inhaling the crisp country air and laid down in the field looking up at the clouds. The sky was a beautiful crystal blue, with a golden sun shining through some light clouds. Birds and butterflies flew overhead as Sunshine watched them and smiled. A loud sound startled Sunshine that sounded like a low pitched hum which was followed by a few silver looking lines flashing across the sky. It was like when daddy turns on the “teebee” when its raining outside, and the screen goes fuzzy. The bright sun also flickered out, leaving Sunshine in darkness. The sound of the wind stopped and the warmth of the sun seemed to cut out, and was replaced by silence with cold still air. Sunshine felt cold, couldn’t hear anything, and stared into blackness. She was so scared and started to cry and scream but no sound came out. Where was everything? Why were her “cee-pwaces not wurking?” Her mind raced as she screamed “Sabe Sunshine!!! Hwelp!! Daddeh!!! Spwechial fwrend!??!” She tried to run only to wobble around. Her leggies felt weird and whenever she tried to run her weird feeling leggies that seemed too short would touch cold metal. After what felt like an eternity, but was only a few minutes, the sun was in full force brightening the day and casting warm rays on Sunshine’s fur. The wind was blowing in her ears, her leggies felt normal again, and she ran back to daddy who immediately comforted her and told her it was a “bad sleepy time picture”.
