I’m not 100% sure, although an overheating safety feature should be a must. That way, it doesn’t burst into flames like that. Like, if it were to sense an excessively high temperature in the central processing unit or the heat regulator, it will shut down for a programmed amount of time to allow the heat to cool off. I might also suggest it be made of fire-retardant materials and be machine washer safe. To accommodate that, I’d suggest a zipper along a major seam of the bed so that the internal workings can be accessed for maintenance and cleaning.
Again, just some suggestions.
