Your a White Pegasus named Ice, and one of the only Fluffies left from your old herd.
You all were staying in a nice wide grassy place. Plenty of room for you and the others, and enough Grassie Nummies in case the stockpile ever ran out, But thanks to your Daddeh, you all never ran out of nummies!
You were a Foal, a Talkie Babbeh. You lived in a Hollowed out tree with your family. Your Mother, a Red Earthie Fluffy named Lovely, your Father, a Steel Blue Pegasus named North, and your two Siblings, a Dark Red Pegasus filly named Ruby, and a Violet Earthie colt named Comet.
There were two other Families. The Smarty and his Family and the Toughie and his.
The Toughie was named Sunny, he was a Dark Orange Earthie Friend, and although at first glance he was a huge Munsta, he was really nice to every fluffy in the herd. His Special Friend was a Brown Unicorn named Toffee, they had the most foals out of the herd, three brown Unicorn Colts, Brick, Mud, and Dirt, and a bright orange Earthie Filly named Flower. You almost couldnât tell the three Pointy Friends apart when they were together, if not for their eyes, one Light Blue, one Yellow, and the last Violet.
The Smartyâs Family consisted of the Cream Colored Alicorn Mummah named Cream. There two foals, a Steel Grey Unicorn Colt named Night and his Sister, a Alicorn with a Dark Grey colored fluff named Lupa. You remember really liking Lupa. But then you remembered the reason why your didnât like her family.

He wasnât a bad Fluffy, but you still hated how he treated your Daddeh. He always pushed him so hard! He did sometimes go out with Daddeh to get nummies but that was only when he was sure that Sunny would be able to keep the herd safe. But that only happened a few times. Besides that he was a really decent Smarty⌠Except for the fact he was dead set on finding a Hoomin to get you all adopted.
He was a very hopeful Smarty.
âNowff! Time tu go get nummies foâ dah nummie pwace!â You heard coming from the entrance of your family nest. With a groggy half awake look around you saw your Daddeh giving kisses to your Mummah and siblings. When he got to you he was surprised to see that you were awake! âOh! Gud mowninâ babbeh! Nowff be back soon wiff nummies foâ Mummahs! den âou get dah bestesâ miwkies ebah. Wub ouâ babbeh!â You chirped and received a kiss, trading it for a hug on your fathers Muzzle, he felt so warm! But then he left for those dummeh nummies.
It made you sad to see him leave, you were a talkie babbeh now! You wanted to go help your Daddeh gettin nummies, but you were too little, mummah said, it made you angry! But right now you were still so tired!
Instead of going back to sleep, you decided to go out to the exit of the nest and see your daddeh off. You waddled your still sleepy body over to the edge of the hole to see your daddeh was talking with the Smarty and they seemed happy! Maybe they said something funny? he turned away from the smarty to see you at the foot of your nest.
âB-bye bye Daddeh! Ice wub 'ou! Peep! Peep!â he waved back at you as he left with Smarty.
You waddled back over to Mummah, and your Sistah and Bwudda, and got right back into the nicest Fluffpile, and went back to sleep.
Life was good, You had friends, a Mummah, a Daddeh, and plenty of miwkies!
You mind went from the miwkies, to playing with your siblings, to the one thing that always made your day! looking at the Bright thing go to take its nap and go behind the big hills. It always made you feel so happy, you didnât know why, but it made you feel all warm.
When you woke up next, Daddeh was still gone, but Ruby and Comet were already playing with each other, when you went over to play with them you found out that Mummah had left to talk with the other Mummahs, So she would be back soon, she still had miwkies to give you all!
THUD THUMP SMACK
But⌠She never came back⌠You began to worry, you were hearing strange things outside the nestie, you thought you heard something like a scream, but your attention was somewhere else. Comet was a sobbing mess and Ruby was on the verge of crying as well, why was Mummah taking so long?
âB-Bwuddah, Sissy, Fwuffy am goinâ to go see if M-Mummah am cominâ back, peep! G-gonâ go to dah end of dah nestie anâ wook, peep! Stay hewe!â You told your scared siblings.
âPeep! Peep! Whewe Mummah at? Huu-huu, Mummah nu wub babbehs? Peep! Peep!â Cried Comet, still drunk with sadness. âChiwp! nu cwy bwuddah! mummah back soon! Peep! O-othah bwuddah gonâ go check foâ mummah, bwuddah su bwabe! peep!â Ruby cried out, giving you a sad, yet hopeful look, and with that you made your brave trek⌠to the other side of the hole where your nest was at.

as you made your way up the hill to the entrance of the hovel your family lived in, you began to hear noises outside and you began to worry! Was Mummah really gone? Was Daddeh not coming back? Did Timber do something bad to Daddeh? But⌠As soon as you knew there were noises, they just as soon stopped!
So many questions ran thru you little mind, untill finally you made your way to the edge of the entrance, still remembering the spot you waved at Daddeh and saw him off, it made you feel super happy! A calm before the storm, as it wereâŚ
As you looked around, you noticed that some of the other fluffies in your herd were taking nappies outside! That was so silly! Werenât they cold? So silly!
You looked over and saw Toughieâs Family lying in a fluffpile under the setting sun, so was Timber and his family! And there you saw them! Mummah and Daddeh! They were sleeping outside!
So silly, so super silly!
If you were a little older, you would have noticed the boo-boo juice covering their bodies, the lifeless eyes that stared up at the orange, purple sky. and the missing limbs, the foals hap-haphazardly tossed on top off the corresponding families.
You wold have noticed the missing limbs, and the broken wings. You would have noticed the other foals had missing limbs, and headsâŚ
But you werenât a little older. You were just a silly little foal, with silly little siblings, and silly sleepy parents. Who all lived in a silly little herdâŚ
