In another world, rather than originating in Hasbio labs, fluffies were created by Nazi scientists during a series of genetic experiments in which they spliced human DNA into different species of animals. They soon overran Nazi Germany, causing many problems for the Reich. in an attempt to solve the fluffy question, after extermination attempts failed, a smarty was chosen to lead the fluffies into cooperation with the Nazis. Promises of sketties to any fluff who joined the SS led thousands of fluffies to follow the orders of the fuhrer’s smarty. However, fluffies proved too stupid to even perform menial tasks and their fervent efforts often ended in accidental sabotage. The Reich was nearly destroyed from the inside by the time Allied forces overcame them. Most Nazi fluffs died in battle or were killed upon Allied invasion but, along with rumors of sightings in Argentina, a few specimens were brought to America with the Nazi scientists who were reappropriated by the US government. Hasbio labs paid out the nose for the remaining fluffies and their engineers, and Fluffmarts soon sprung up across the United States.
