Just a drop of dilute sodium hydroxide in the back of the throat should take care of it. That could be part of an excellent lesson on how to calculate the molarity of solutions.

That reminds me of the time I had to dissect a frog by myself cause the person I was “partnered” with was literally useless.
Better to cut up a fluffy then a cat.
