Ooo, some kind of parasite taking over a still conscious host? Those are especially grim.

yeah! the base idea was that the host would eventually just be a puppet without any functions except for it’s consciousness and hearing, so the fluffy wouldn’t be able to see anything and it would just have to imagine it, which is usually much worse, y’know? hearing it’s family members ask what’s wrong with it, then squelch
