I’d imagine the foal on her back would fuse, seared flesh to flesh. Death would be a mercy for the foal, survival in such a state would be agony for mother and child

Actually with how fragile fluffies can be, especially the foals. I wouldn’t be surprised if it had just completely melted and fused to the mother’s back.
