Well, yeah, the origins of fluffies are inextricably tied with FIM.

But it’s not like you have to acknowledge that. I don’t think I’ve ever really acknowledged it in my own works.

And I’ve never watched FIM, the only MLP thing I’ve watched is one tape my sisters had when we were kids. As a kid in the 90s, you just had to accept that you don’t always get to decide what to watch. If you grew up in the long-lost days of yore before watching movies on your phone while taking a crap was a thing and you have siblings, you know how it was.

Honestly, I can’t say anything about bronies that hasn’t already been said before.

The old phrase ‘Depends on canon’ comes to mind…
Haven’t established my own fully yet, gotta think of sum i guess.

Yeah, i remember the 90s, the bickering on what’s up. Later on we got 'em 3-way splitter for the cable’s: everyone their own tv, always annoying that Star trek was on during dinner, c’mon, i wanna see Janeway kick some Borg arse.

Also i remember the MLP tv broadcasts from the early 90’s vaguely, looked it up recently…just meh…mediocre.
The 2010 iteration, Friendship is magic, well, i tried getting through the episodes a few years back, got to season 5 before i got bored.
The allure is understandable, but ehr, not my cup a tea. It IS aimed at the younger audience.

Bronies are mostly a dead thing except online. Mostly for porn. Covid was a deathblow to the fandom since a lot of the conventions had to cancel and then never bothered continuing again. Them hating the new show also doesn’t help much.

Ah, yeah, the new gen, quite a diffirence i’ve heard; a sorta 3d cartoon style, bit like the effect of the old and new Lion king movie, the original had an adorable artstyle, while the new one, well yes, ‘realistic’.
Seems like they were a short-time fad.

I have seen a meme passing by 'bout 'em, was about the grades of fandom, from Non-fan to Passive-fan all the way to complete full fledged fans who were called Nazi having a convo with eachother, the nazifan was very obsessed, quite funny fiction.

Ironically enough, they’re probably exactly the kind of people who would wind up on the Auschwitz Express.

If Hitler came back today, he’d look at all the self-proclaimed Nazis on the internet and go “Ach, zis is vot I have to vork vith now?”
