I Got My First Stalker!

Someone thought it would be cute to send a vague threat to my home address, not realizing they included an order number, and a tracking number (either that, or they’re stupid).

I asked the police what to do and they said they can’t do anything until it becomes a repeating situation, or if it includes actual threats. But they did say it was still good to report it so that it goes on record, which can help later. They also sent the report to the cyber crime devision so that they could start a case for me if it happens again. But to whoever sent this…

1.) lots of people in the FC already know who I am. I’ve never claimed to be some anonymous mystery. You’re not impressing anyone by using Google.

2.) Your images got cropped so I can’t even read the full message. If you’re going to threaten someone, at least do a quality check.

3.) I’ve reported it to the police, my employer, my neighbors, and my fraud insurance - which covers identity theft and monitors suspicious activity on my accounts.

4.) I don’t care about threats against me, but transitively threatening my family is another matter entirely. I will be taking this matter seriously in order to protect them.

Lmao, as fucked up as it is that someone would do that I find the sheer incompetence kind of hilarious.

Seriously though, be safe man. That’s fucked up.

I wouldn’t have made a post about it (attention is what people want). I would just report it, get action done, and you already preemptively did all your identity theft stuff.

Definitely wouldn’t give the dude attention though that’s the worst thing you can do.

I figured maybe they were stupid enough to talk about it and someone might know something.

Can you send another picture of that first piece in the stack?

Or better yet, a picture of every piece in the stack. I want to see what exactly you got sent

Agree. Parasocial obsessions are weird and get volatile fast.

Um… How did they get your home address??? I’m deleting this account ASAP if this site shares private information

This sucks, getting stalked is never fun.
But I have great respect for how open you are about it.
You are taking control by showing you are not afraid and thus taking angency away from your stalker.

Good job standing up for yourself and your family.

Don’t try to seek much rational behind their motives, there usually isn’t much. Just take good care of yourself and keep a record of everything that happens, even minor occurences.

Good luck snd stay safe.

Also, I’m with Owl, I would like to see the rest.

@WingieFluff It does not.

The amount of information available is highly limited even to site staff. Your address is never shared or even given to us.

Boots has been very public and open about his information of his own volition, which unfortunately will lead to things like this.

That’s tough, gonna be sent a whole herd next

I flipped a boring one over so you could see the back.

It is an Internet print from a nearby Walgreens. They then had it delivered via FedEx to my house.

The police say they can subpoena businesses and sites involved if it happens again, which hurts more than just me. Whoever did this needs to quit while they’re ahead before they ruin their life and annoy more people than just me.

Luckily it’s not my problem anymore. As soon as it happens again the police will take over. Everyone else has been made aware and I’ve received nothing but positive support which made me feel a lot better. I slept fine last night. :clownworld:

I knew it was a possibility. I also knew anyone stupid enough to act on it would have to deal with the police. Most trolls fall into two categories. The first being intelligent hackers who know how to cover their tracks, but they wouldn’t waste their time on something like this. The second being idiots with nothing better to do who don’t know how to cover their tracks well enough and end up getting in trouble because of it. This one is definitely the latter.

I find the paper calling you “a big doo doo head” ironic, as the fluffy pictured is an accurate depiction of your stalker.

(I would like to clarify that I am not condemning the LGBTQ+ community when saying that said fluffy embodies the stalker.)

Welp, if nothing else, at least you got a nice print of Guzbo family on photo paper, the one on the piece you flipped over - even if cropped a bit. You could always frame it, it’s a nice one.

Honestly? I kind of thought the same thing lol. They are nice quality photographs. I can’t remember the last time I held an actual photo in my hand.

Damn, I’m sorry dude.

I just got a package in the mail from my parents, who I’ve intentionally not given my address, so I guess it’s time to move. 6 years of peace. Gone.
