I think B. Perhaps, after it’s rough start in life because of color, the sudden fortune of love and comfort made it too full of itself. The one taking it in might say stuff like “no, you are not a poopy baby, you are a good fluffy” and so on. Because of that, it gets too bratty because “other fluffies were wrong and this is what I deserve”.
