Long time ago, I discovered fluffies through a different site that no longer exist anymore. I enjoyed the time that I spend on that site, but there was one problem that ruined the overall experience and enjoyement: A full endless comment section flame war. People were insulting each other in the comments vulgarly and “f-ck you, k-ll yourself, you are a PDF-File and zoo-file” was the most popular thing to put in the comments among users from both sides. For some reasons, the people just couldn’t accept the fact that some people can have different opinions and some people can like different things than others. there was option to search tags and topics and block what you didn’t want to see, but I guess that I was the only one who was using them. Abusers were attacking hugboxers under hugbox posts and hugboxers were attacking abusers under abuse posts. And the neutrals were provoking everybody for fun. And when I tried different site, it was the same. After some time, I decided to quit the community. now, I am coming back after many years to look if anything changed. But did anything changed? Is the silent peaceful existence between abusers and hugboxers impossible? can’t we just ignore each other and use the search tab and tags blocking to see only what we want to see and chat with people that share our opinions on fluffies and hide what we don’t want to see and don’t talk to people who don’t share our opinions on fluffies? or can we just be polite to each others despite having different opinions and preferences when it comes to fluffies and be silent when we can’t say anything nice? Or will we end up burning this entire site and community down in a pointless flame war? Am I going to get lots of hate comments and permanent ban from site for this? Probably yes. but it was nice to be back for just a moment. I saw many talented artists that I never saw before on this site, so it was worth it. if this is the end, goodbye, Fluffy Community. No need to be mean, just tell the mods to ban me.

Anyway I have no idea what you’re talking about. This community is definitely like… SLIGHTLY more acerbic than some communities but it’s hardly the “flame war” you’re talking about. The majority of posts here I just see people saying cruel things about the FLUFFIES. So unless you are unable to differentiate someone being hostile to a fictional stupid fat horse from being hostile to the artist…

Look, I understand your frustrations that everybody is not nice and people act like… well, crazy ass monkey, throwing shit and all, but unfortunately that is the status quo and there is nothing you can do to change it. And if you try, well, guess who will be attacked.
My advice, just do not pay attention to that, enjoy the post, the fluffies being loved or tortured or whatever you like, and forget the comments section, for your own mind peace

This isn’t really a hate for anyone, but I’m a little surprised that anyone using this site or others in this niche fandom is expecting more out of a fandom where a large portion of it is composed of people who enjoy the concept of fictional creatures getting hurt/abused/karmically f-ed over.
Even hugbox types (which I lean towards except for certain cases like bitch mares and smarties where I find a certain satisfaction in seeing them get karmically punished) can be pretty cruel on here. It’s the facelessness of the internet.
Oh yeah, internet gotten so much better since we stopped bullying degenerates. I mean furries now groom kids openly with early porn exposure as a result. Now we channel that anger into politics which is way healthier and better for society.

Whenever someone posts something about bad people here, they never back it up with evidence.
