Jellybean Act 2, Part 6 (Baron_Trump)

The world outside was cold and damp, a wind blew through Jellybean’s fluff making her shiver. It was almost dark time and even though she had only just left, she felt an urgent need to get back to her babies.

As Jellybean shuffled over to some grassy-nummies, trying to avoid the prickly hurtie vines that were growing around her nest, with her body still big and clumsy from babbehs it was impossible and she winced as they poked into her. They especially hurt her sensitive milky places which, swollen and enlarged, dragged on the ground as she walked.

OWIES! Wowstes miwkie pwace huwties! Huuuuu!

She felt herself make poopies. It was the first poopies she had made in lots of forevers that she didn’t have to num after… she hated numming her own poopies - it was SO yicky - but she had to so her nest would stay clean for her babies.

She looked for some of the flowers and berries she liked - they were so much nummier than grassies - but she couldn’t find any. Even the grassies didn’t taste very good now, they were all thin and a bit slimy and didn’t seem to fill her tummy. Despite this, she ate as much as she could, and then some more, she knew she needed to num a lot so she could make good milkies for her babies.

Gud mummahs make gud miwkies fo babbehs tu gwow up big an stwo… huhuhuhuuuuu

Jellybean knew she was NOT a good mummah, she made her firstest baby take forever sleeepies! He firstest , prettiest, sweetest, bestest baby was gone because she was a bad mummah and she had squished his little tummy sketties from his little body right after he came out of her! This thought gave Jellybean the worstest saddies and she almost wanted to take forever sleepies too, but then she thought about her other babies and how they needed milk so badly!

Babbehs suu hungwy, nee miwkies, nee gwow stwong… nee Mummah fin mowe nummies.

As she ate, her eyes never stopped darting back to the entrance of her nest. She thought there might be better nummies further away, but she was too scared to go were she couldn’t see it, and her milkie places hurt so bad with every step, so she filled up on the bland grassies nearby.

Nu can go oba dewe, tuu dangewis, babbehs nee Mummah watch dem aww da time

As she scanned the entrance to her nest, she noticed just a few little flowers not far away at all - she could reach those without losing sight of her nesty, and she needed something to take the yicky taste of grassies away from her mouth - she waddled over to them and started eating, they were so much better tasting.

She made her way slowly and painfully over to the flowers and started numming them, even they didn’t taste very pretty, but they DID taste better than the yicky grassies. Suddenly Jellybean heard something that made her fluff stand up on her back!

Cheeep! CHEEEP! Peep! Cheeeeeeeep!

It was her a babbeh, her babbeh! She turned back to her nesty and saw her little yellow baby had wriggled its way out of the nest and was in the mud by the entrance hole urgently making ‘mummah chirpies’.

Nuuuuuu babbeh! It tuu dangewis to spwow fow wittwe babbehs!

She dashed over to her babbeh, straight through the meanie hurty vines. She felt them scraping and poking her tummy and her milky places but didn’t slow down. Just as she reached her babbeh and scooped him up with her mouth, there was a sudden loud CRASH! CRUNCH CRUNCH! In the bushes behind her!

MUNSTAAAA!

She thought, fighting the urge to scream which would let her babbeh fall from her mouth. She scrambled as fast as she could down the hole into her nest, making scardie poopies and peepees along the way.

Sensing distress, her other babbehs started making scaredy chirps and peeps, calling for mummah’s help. She gathered them into her fluff protectively and huddled with them in the farthest corner of her nesty hole.

Shhhh babbehs, mummah hewe, shhhh nuuu make peeepies pwease babbehs.

She plead with them, trying to coo and calm them, but with her heart pounding and terror in her tummy making her body tremble.

Outside she could hear the rustling of grass and leafs as the munsta came close to her hiding place. Suddenly a huge black nose stuck into the entrance!

Sniffff, snifff, snuffle, snifff

The munsta had found them! It made scratching sniffy noises right outside! Jellybean made more scaredy poopies on herself and waited trembling, holding her babies, for the munsta to come and give them forever sleepies… but then she didn’t hear the sniffy noises anymore! Looking up she listened intently and could hear the sound of the munsta moving away… HER BABBEHS WERE SAFE!

Jellybean fell asleep huddled with her babbehs, relief washing over her.

I felt that something bad was going to happen, but the suspense is still good.

This and the last should have been one chapter but I did them as I wrote for momentum.

But the munsta knows where they are and they will never really be safe…

She managed to step outside, eat grass that was right outside, and get back inside without crushing another foal. And, believe it or not, that’s progress! The bar’s in hell.
