This is Gumball and her caretaker Reginald Hargrove, the elderly butler to a rich family. Gumball was originally bought as a Christmas present for the family’s daughter, but as kids do with toys, the daughter’s interest faded and moved on, leaving Gumball to be taken care of fully by Reginald. And he loves her like the cat a dad said he’d never get, taking the best care of her that he can and doing his best to prevent her from being too spoiled. Of course, she’s a bit spoiled and bratty, but unlike the daughter of the family, Reginald can actually discipline her and tell her if she’s done something bad. Even though Gumball is a bit mischievous sometimes, she truly loves Reginald like a father.
