It burned the few time I used it. I think its because of the alcohol in it getting into the cuts is what makes it sting.

:shrug: Different Strokes for different folks. It smells good but the ones ive used have burned. I’m sure a menthol or tea tree oil based one with less alcohol would probably not burn as much.

How do you shave? What kinda aftershave do you use?

Brut, Cool water, and Old Spice, were the ones I tried back in my late teens and mid twentys haven’t tryed it since I assumed they all burned. I get razor bumps with new multi blade razors. I have to use an old fashioned safety razor with straight or double edge blades. Vanderhagen and Gillette Bulldog catridge handles. For the cream I use a mug with hot water and various soaps. The brushes to mix em up are badger, horse and boar hair brushes.

I use a straight razor but I just use regular shaving cream or shave butter from the store. The aftershave I use is from Blades Grim

Used to get cuts using cream, now using butter i dont so aftershave doesnt sting anymore. But when it did sting I would put coconut oil with a drop of lavender on it and red was gone by the time i got to work.
