I have so many questions about the human baby situation

Actually that answered the big one of “how is that baby in an alley by itself?” because that is not what was happening lol

Baby was abandoned for a reasoni haven’t come up with, mummah who lost her babbehs finds it.
Does a pretty good job of keeping baby healthy, is scavenging in the abandoned Detroit suburbs
Eventually has to ask for help despite losing her babbehs to a mean human, gets to stay with human baby as she goes through the orphanage and foster care system

So that IS what is happening! That is fascinating in fact, and that is the luckiest baby in the world.

That third picture made me wonder if fluffies can be trained for child care, and how badly it could go. “Nu wan gib wickie cweanies nu mowe! Poopie!”
It might be a dumpster baby. I’ve seen enough true crime and done enough animal rescue to know just how common it is for people to throw living creatures in the trash and pretend that’s the end of it.
Yeah I had to write around that because ew gross. She finds discarded rags in houses to use
She closed the flaps of her nest with one final “Wub yu” and made her way into the suburb. Scavenging opportunities were bountiful, all the houses around were abandoned before Purpie was even born. She’d often considered moving into one of the empty abodes but they came with risks and unknowns that she just couldn’t justify. So many human objects were dangerous and for a fluffy there was barely any way to know until something hurt them. The houses were dark too, the power long shut off. Too scary to stay in for long.
But they also had the most loot. Babbeh needed not-fluff, hopefully a blankie. Purpie needed cleaning. She decided it was worth the risk. She looked around and spotted a house with a window just open enough for a fluffy to sneak through. She considered the situation, idly brushing her poopy hoof in the grass as she thought. She could get in, but could she get out?
She thought of Babbeh shivering last night. The days were getting colder. Babbeh needed warms. Her nerves filled with resolve. She made her way to the house.
Climbing over the windowsil and scampering into the opening she flopped through into the house with a fwumpf. She looked back at the window. Too high to reach. She muttered to herself. “Dummeh mummah…” but rose to her hooves. The house was dark, but light from outside gave her enough to work with. She made her way through the abandoned entryway and into the house proper.
Off to the corner was a small room which she recognized as a human litter box. She thought it was absurdly ostentatious to have such a large box to do poopies, but it often had wawa hidden away. Perfect for rinsing off her hoof. She waddled into the dusty bathroom. In her experience there were three kinds of wawas in the human litter box; the big wawa, the uppie wawa, and the poopie wawa.
