Fluffies aren’t known for being smart enough to do something like try to zig zag while fleeing. In fact it probably would just mean a quicker death since they’re already so pathetically slow they’d still be in Za’s path before they got far enough into the turn anyway.
Reminds me of a classic Booru picture of a feral herd spiked on a nice white picket fence, being allowed to watch as their pathetic offspring tried to flee the oncoming lawnmower. The ‘winner’ of the race would get to die like a big fluffy instead, being spiked on the fence to be bird chow.
