These phantoms are created from the sorrow of mares who lost their foals or had a miscarriage, but these have gained evil through the grudge of those mares who’s foals have been killed by a smarty or another fluffy and even their own accidents.
The Lurkers are always hidden in the dark places of alleyways, once they are fixated on a fluffy family or herd with chirpy foals they will stalk them to their nest, making the foals uncomfortable and wiggle more on their mother’s back, this usually causes at least one foal to fall and be injured.
During the night these phantoms create a miasma of sorrow and evil that constantly fills the nest, weakening the foals slowly, slowly enough to make it look like a sickness that has spread to every foal, this weakening is so slow that it can take weeks for the foals to finally succumb, after wich the Lurker will stop being fixated on the herd and returning to an alleyway for another fluffy family to pass by.
They feed on the sorrow of fluffy mummahs wich makes them exist longer but doesn’t boost their effects on foals.
On soon mummahs the effect will be plain miscarriage, for some reason they can also affect the son mummah causing it fear and the need of running away when she is in the bloated state where her legs no longer reach the ground.
