Well, they are chirpies, most probably they can only drink milk, taking into account that many fathers would have done worse things (abandon them, eat them, and even give them their “father’s milk”) death is a mercy.

Yeah, people tend to miss those little details a lot around here. I think you’re correct, Wendy is a milk-less mare killing another mare’s babies because she knows they’ll starve otherwise.

Unless I misunderstood your comment isn’t the fluffy doing the crushing just a friend or herdmate?

She calls herself Wendy and says she doesn’t have milk so it’s obviously a mare without foals.

She explicitly refers to the foals as ‘Rainbow’s foals’

She refers to Rainbow as ‘Rainbow’ so it’s doubtful she’s even related at all to the foals.

Ah, I must’ve misread the text, I assumed blue was the mum, yellow was the dad, and mum was killing the foals because she had no way to get food for milk
