I haven’t been on this site in a while, but I just went to go edit a few of my chapters and I noticed that the edit button seems to be gone? I can see the editing history, but can’t seem to actually make an edit. Help me please?

There is a trash button now for posts so I’m assuming we can delete our posts now and redo our mistakes instead of having a little pencil telling everyone how much times we messed up.
I see this as a one up for people that exclusively post comics and art, but a massive loss for the people that make text posts.

Oh god, I really hope that’s not the only way. If so, that seriously needs to be addressed.

Virgil or Oculus will probably make a post soon addressing this once everyone figures it out.
They might switch it back or else they’ll tell us to deal with it.

There have been no changes that would remove the ability to edit. I’m unsure what might be causing that.
Being a writer myself there’s no way I would remove the edit functionality on a whim.
@ArtfulEon you have a delete button now because you’ve attained the appropriate trust level.

Please don’t do that. The only people that can see the edit mark is the staff, and you.
(And trust me, every single one of my posts has to be edited, sometimes multiple times.)
It’s not a mark of shame.
