I used paint yesterday after having not touched it in close to a decade just because of a discussion on text formatting and they added a bunch of features.
Paint has layers and opacity now. Your eraser isnt a white paintbrush, it literally removes all color.

hold right click with one color you want to erasers in color 1 and color 2 as the color you want to use.
Unfortunately only on win11 and I refuse to update my OS.
