It doesn’t need her.
But a child who can defend themselves who throws the first punch disappoints their parent. A child who’s parent beats the shit out of their bullies provides the child entertainment.
At least so long as there’s no school to provide peers to mock them for being saved by a parent, or to isolate them from the parent and with the bully anyway. Although the Jellen doesn’t need to worry even if that were the case.
