This seems more expensive than just buying a chirpy

seems like a good idea rather than wasting a baby life

The idea is not to kill critters, and at the very least not traumatize the mare. You could also sabotage the fake chirpy to say, “looks like you ain’t ready, maybe next year”

Honestly, seems like the most common use might be as a toy for a mare who won’t stop asking for babies. It effectively simulates a baby and it stays a baby so it will possibly keep her satisfied for that. At least the particularly dumb ones would be, or the ones who are desperate even for the closest artificial thing they can have to the genuine article.

Imagine breaking it, but dont damage the part that makes “peep” so you have what looks like a dead baby but it keeps making noises and cooing, traumatized fluffys saying why the baby with “foreva sleeps” does not stop chirping.

The Telltale Chirpy

Would be a good benchmarking tool. Own a shelter and need to test a new arrival’s temperment? Thinking of starting a breeding business and need to know if your dam will keep her foals alive? Cheap easy way to do just that!

Looks like a good psycho detector. Put a box of these things in a schoolyard with a hidden camera to find the potential serial killer kids.

Yeah, but is it… anatomically correct?

There’s a couple foalout4 stories where someone does that.
