Muzzle Practice! [PlayerTenji95]

Continuing the discussion from “Ebony the Filly Fluffy” Art Dump (Ebony’s Family) [PlayerTenji95]:

So I decided to try something different and attempt some muzzle practice. And who else but to use the main character of my story: Ebony! While I’m not exactly proud of the front leg proportions in my original style, I like the overall build better. The Second muzzle style is nice, but it affected the proportions of the drawing itself, and as a result, Ebony looks more… Chibi? Idk, I think she kinda looks more like a filly.

In conclusion: I like both! But I think my “Normal” Style looks more like an Adult Fluffy in my style. Maybe I’ll use the Muzzle adjustment for younger fillies and colts! Thanks for the critique!

Moving in a good direction, though it looks a bit Great Gonzo.

Have a look at this ferret. They have the kind of cutesy face shape a cartoon pig-horse might have, while the overall structure of the head has a nice balance to it. Noticeably, the bridge of the nose tapers down and the lower jaw tapers up towards the tip of the nose, which you can make wider, narrower, pointed or squared-off as you like best.

Keep drawing and enjoying yourself!
