Not so Extinct: Bowl Fluffy Hiding. By Mikahorsie

A rare sight. A Bowl Fluffy trying to graze for food near his nest.

We can see the Bowl Fluffy pony being cautious and even avoiding other Fluffies by lowering it’s body to sneak around the foliage. An oddly intelligent trait it acquired from experience.

A truly bizarre sight indeed…

I wonder if bowl fluffys can lay on top of their babies to protect them from predators or the rain.

A fantastic defence mechinism

Until it lays down for too long causing its babbehs to run out of oxygen and suffocate to death

Well considerating that fluffys are very fragile the mother would die on top of them killing them in the process.

Hm… sneaking around … any one got a fog horn ~

They did in their initial conception.

Someone or something was bound to find him eventually. Guess he’s doomed.

That’s curious, aside from them being freaks I’m unsure why they are targeted

It’s more like they are the failed Adjacent link between Aqua Fluffies and land Fluffies. Nature fucked them over by allowing them to adapt just enough to travel through water but without any ways for them to fully control the ability to navigate through water when they float.

They also lack the proper organs to breath through water, their organs are not adapted to survive anything but freshwater living (they can die if they are submerged in saltwater for a prolonged period due to their liver not adapting to salt levels) and worse their bowl shaped bodies kinda makes them a bit awkward in land thus easier prey.
