NOTICE. New rules incoming.

What grandfather clause? Where’d you get that idea?

Virgil’s comment that I replied to: “No, nono we are NOT deleting most anthros. There is a Grandfather clause with an endpoint of today. We will retain nearly all of the anthro art that has been posted to our site, to this point
But going forward we will have different guidelines”

It’s fine.
In order for anthro-fluffies to continue as a subspecies the porn should be removed.

Like the mods said, keep it about fluffies, not pornography.

I guess I was just confused, I thought your comment I replied to meant that anthro works posted prior to the rule change would be grandfathered in and would not be removed.

So Fluffies should look like Fluffies and AI art isn’t allowed. Pogg

I’m a little worried about one of the subspecies I created, at least these look fluffy enough that I can continue with them

The new rules are about:
12: Anthro fluffies should look like anthro fluffies and not some furry horses, and their behavior should be somewhat fluffy-like.
13: No AI content.

Neither of these apply to your non-anthro sub-species.

I believe I misspoke and made it seem like nothing made before that day would be removed. I apologize for the confusion my wording caused

I know I’m tardy to the party but are we talking about the one that drove Air away or did the dumbass make ANOTHER one

Probably the one you’re thinking of

Aren’t those the ones where they supposedly “have the mentality of a 12-year-old human”?

“Fluffies” with the intelligence of a human early adolescent aren’t fluffies. (Unless it’s a one-off exception like Mutagen’s Greg, or something like weirdbox where it’s played for laughs.)

If you kept only their looks and made them into a variant in appearance only, that’d be fine.
If you still really want them to be behaviorly different as well, don’t make them “improved versions of fluffies in every way”. They need to be balanced.

Some people have no idea what the core tenets of the medium are, they just make shit to make shit. No respect for the medium, for the culture, for the community. Shame on them.

Large group of people doing that, currently.

The actual Lego horses aren’t really versatile, as you might see in the pic of my previous comment, my question is; am i allowed, and is it wise on a (Sub-)cultural level, to use the ‘brony’-Mini-Figurines as stand-in fluffies?

It would be funnier if you do them out of bricks, making them humongous compared to the minies

this is why i was thinking in retcon those fluffies to be less intelligent, and have their own issues, i think having more physical improvements and be more perceptive will be enough to be more balanced

Got some x1x1x1 eyes, loads of bright-coloured bricks in various forms, that could work for a comic.
Gonna credit ya for that idea when the likes are gonna rise.

Would…So if i would use those brony-fluffyin a comic , would they count as anthro or sumting?

Most people will probably see them as anthros regardless of how i answer this question

Ah, the answer (and sparring) i just needed.

I thought red fluffies were on par with a 2-4 year old. Or dumber as the black slapstick demands.

Red fluffies go faster, that’s the only difference
