You were trying to find food for Smartie.
Its not like you didn’t have food, in fact, you had quite alot, but smartie said that you needed to find food for his special-friend, who had just given birth to foals.
You had found a patch of pretty mushrooms, and you knew that bringing back such pretty nummies would make smartie so happy.
So happy he might let you have a special friend.
You needed to bring them back to smartie. You grabbed the biggest leaf, and piled them on, pulling the leaf with your mouth.
You didn’t go that far from the herd and you didn’t even get ten feet from your starting point, when you started feeling exhausted from lugging the food.
Thats when an idea hit you.
You could eat a little bit of the food. It would make the leaf lighter, and you’d have a full belly. Genius!
You gobbled down a few of the mushrooms, and continued your task.
You arrived at the clearing your herd called home… but something was wrong.
The fluffies were gone. All you saw were monsters sitting in their nests, eating their food.
Fear overwelmed you, you pooped all over the mushrooms you worked so hard to find.
And noticing what you had done, something new rose in you.
Anger.
How dare these monsters eat YOUR food, sit in YOUR nests, and make YOU poop all over the food you worked so hard to collect.
They needed to pay.
You scanned the area, most monsters were sitting in the nests your herd worked so hard on, while others were chasing each other or eating food.
You saw three big monsters looking over the clearing, and looking at you.
You let out a fierce cry as you charged towards the group. tackling the first monster in your way, pounding away at its face with your hooves, not letting it get a chance to fight back.
Other monsters tried to hurt you, and a few of them did, but your fury gave you the strength to kill all in your path.
Two of the three big monsters screeched at you, and charged at you.
You knew you couldn’t fight them alone, but they needed to die!
In a moment of brilliance you grabbed a stick with your mouth and stabbed one of the monsters in the eye, giving a shrill scream. The other backed away as you continued to mutilate the other.
You noticed some of the monsters running away, but you wouldn’t let them
Some ran into trees, some tripped on rocks, none managed to escape your wrath.
Finally, the biggest monster approached you, and you could swear it was yelling at you.
It turned around and you saw your chance.
You shoved your stick right into the monsters poopie place, skewering it’s organs as it let out a final screech.
Now all that was left was the monsters in the nests, they couldn’t run, they were too fat to move, you assume these were the monsters that ate the fluffies.
They all died easily, only screaming at you.
You looked around, all the monsters were dead. Their blood covering your fluff and hooves.
Your duty complete.
Or so you thought.
Just as you were about to leave, you heard small cheeps.
Babies.
You can’t let them grow up.
You can’t let them eat more fluffies.
You can’t let them take away another fluffy’s herd.
You crushed them, one by one.
Only at the last did you hesitate.
Your head felt odd, and you blinked a few times, continuing to crush the monster.
wait
no
no
no no no no no no
What lay under your hoof was not a monster, but a foal.
You looked around
There were no monsters.
Only dead fluffies.
Your confusion grew untill finally.
it clicked.
there were no monsters
you killed your herd
You were the monster.
