Hi all. Old lurker here, on and off since early days of booru. I just had a couple of things I was looking for, wondering if anybody can help. I know the author of the first one, RingofFire. He did a series where he turned a smarty into a stuffed doll.
Other I don’t know author or title, basically a text series about a crazy fluffy lady who dies and her house turns into lord of the fluffyflies. Different factions in basement, upstairs, etc.
Anybody have any info on 2nd one, and maybe even a copy of the RingofFire series?
One of my favorite series. I considered linking it up to my own comic, or at least referencing it, because I really wanted to interact more with the world and characters. But sometimes it’s best to let the dead stay dead.
I used to remember the author’s name but I’ve since forgotten.
The main villain was a two-tone grey smarty named BOSS who found and wore a fez on his head. Oh man, he literally got away with murder again and again. Such an amazing character to love to hate.
There was a fair bit of fan art going on, and the author also published a big, visual family tree of how all the fluffies in the house were interrelated.
The genre was more adventure/suspense than your typical box. So… neutralbox?
I searched ring of fire idk how many times and kept missing that post, thats it thanks. Sanctuary sounds familiar, could be it. Is that one where they fell down the stairs leading upstairs, hid in bathroom, etc?
TY, glad to be back. I never did any serious art, just a few crapped out movie scene remakes (best was hellraiser, fluffy with a bunch of hooks saying Sky daddeh wept).
I’ve been tempted to do a headcannon post. Biggest thing with my headcannon is most/all artists represent different breeds/models of fluffies in same universe.
The story ended with a rebellion led by a yellow (golden?) alicorn who had been raised by the sub-class basement fluffies. Humans descended on the house to clear it out, and captured and removed Boss.
That alicorn lead the heroic main fluffies back into the wilderness, as the nucleus of a new herd.
I remember exploring plotting for my comic where I had my own alicorn character Star meeting and interacting with that alicorn-led herd.
