Because it’s not obvious:
- He is wearing a diaper. He has a tail but I literally forgot to draw it.
- He is wearing prescription goggles as glasses would fall off.
- The old fella has a receding mane-line.
- His colors desaturated over the years, and the gray is in there.
- His teeth aren’t all there. He eats more of a soft mush.

I mean you can’t hold it against him, he’s only marginally more pathetic than a normal fluffy. And probably less trouble.

Poor guy has either hippy hair OR got the recessive “self-mullet” gene.
Wearing the diaper calmly makes it more adorable.
