On KMEB's storyline (Original creator: KMEB) (Author: Elias)

Hello everyone. KMEB’s storyline features over 200 individual Fluffybooru posts and multiple interconnected stories. There are a lot of small details and bits of info mentioned by KMEB herself outside of the stories themselves. For that reason, I decided to make a summary of the entire storyline, focusing on how different events bring the separate stories together. Obviously, there are going to be MAJOR SPOILERS, so I recommend reading the stories before you read this post.

Below are the links to the relevant stories. The posts have navigation links under them, so you can find the part you may have missed.

KMEB has also made a text post containing the chronological sequence of some of the events in the storyline, as well as a post about her general headcanon.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s begin.

I’ll start with the connection between Supe’ Fwuff and the rest of the storyline. As seen in the timeline post, his story and the rest of the storyline happen in the same universe. However, they take place parallel to each other, the events in Supe’ Fwuff barely having any connection to the rest of the storyline. The only direct connection is at the end of the timeline post, where, despite Senator Sandworm’s attempts, the Supreme Court defines fluffies as people. This directly leads to the Fluffmart story, which takes place 2 weeks later, and greatly influences the G27 chapter.

Another story that doesn’t quite connect with the rest of the storyline is Runt’s. First of all, KMEB’s runts are a bit unique. When she came up with their design, there were intended to be simply what their name implies - a fluffy runt. However, as KMEB’s headcanon developed, “runts” became the 4th generation of fluffies that appeared during the development of fluffies. Even though g4s were discontinued, their traits still sometimes resurface in the common fluffies’ litters in the form of runts.

Runts often appeared in KMEB’s works as a cameo because she liked to draw them. They weren’t considered worthy of being an actual story element, but there was one exception. The supergenius runt with purple fluff and a brown mane was born to a pet fluffy and had a loving owner, mother and siblings. 2 weeks into his life he shows understanding of the Pythagorean Theorem without being taught it.

This is as far as we know from his own separate story, but there is more information to be gathered in other stories. Runt’s owner evidently lived in the same neighborhood as Pegleg’s and Goldie’s owners, as at some point Pegleg met Runt and brought him to Goldie. Goldie ends up killing Runt. Then, when Goldie’s victims are granted another life, Runt joins Puffin’s herd. About two years later, he buys a shop together with some other fluffies from the herd, which explodes soon after due to a propane leak. Runt is the only survivor. Right before the explosion, he displays knowledge of both the smell and molecular structure of propane. Next, he is mentioned at the very end of the storyline, where he is a member of the council overseeing an advanced fluffy colony.

With this, it’s time for the “main part”. KMEB’s storyline both begins and ends with rage fluffy. In the Batch 13/G13 chapter, we see the final stages of fluffies’ development. This chapter mentions several generations of fluffies. First of all, there is a brief mention of generations 1, 2, 3 and 7, which were deaf for an unknown reason. Then there is g4, the “runts”. Then g12 and g13.

The “normal” fluffies are the 12th generation, and are the unfinished version. The next generation, g13, greatly exceed their predecessors in intelligence and learning capability, as well as coordination, but have a lot of psychological issues. This makes them way too dangerous for release. So, the lead scientist plans to scale back the next generation’s capabilities, while retaining the lack of g12’s biggest flaws.

Those plans, however, don’t come to fruition, as Hasbio begins releasing g12s without even notifying the person responsible for their development. That’s where everything starts to go downhill. G13s attempt to escape the facility, and are presumably killed. The scientist is captured and blamed for both the damage caused by the attempt and for the uncontrollable spread of the feral g12 population.

However, Headache (rage fluffy) manages to escape, and so does Lego, another g13, as we find out in G27.

Months later, the imprisoned scientist is contacted by a man that brings him the evidence that rage fluffy is still alive.

Having escaped, rage fluffy goes into hiding while pretending to be a normal fluffy. He chooses owners who have their own psychological issues, and drives them to suicide within ~2 months. He also “helps” them by secretly adding poison in their food. Eventually, one of these people accidentally survives and finds evidence of rage fluffy’s machinations around his house. He finds out about rage fluffy’s prior movements and sets his sights on revenge.

After driving yet another owner to hang himself, rage fluffy hears about the congregation of feral fluffies in Cleveland. Still on the lookout for other members of his batch, he boards a train and starts off to Cleveland. There he tries to gun down a megaherd, barely making a dent in it. Later on, he ends up in a shootout with the police, and when cornered, pretends to be a normal fluffy, instead blaming a random black guy. While there, he encounters some fuzzies and uses math paradoxes to break their programming.

Meanwhile, the survived owner sees the footage of a white fluffy without a mane or a tail shooting at the police on TV and realizes that it is, in fact, rage fluffy. Understanding that he is too dangerous to confront directly, the man instead decides to breed a fluffy smart enough to confront Headache. That’s also when he brings evidence to the scientist that created fluffies.

After months of work, he breeds out a mare called Morgan, his biggest success so far. However, Morgan escapes his house and is presumed to be dead. After the Cleveland incident, rage fluffy is also presumed to be dead.

Having escaped her home, Morgan eventually joins a feral herd and becomes the smarty’s special friend. The smarty is of the “smarty friend” kind, kind to his herd. The two have foals, until a disaster strikes.

Through unknown means, rage fluffy finds out about Morgan and decides on eliminating her. He incites some of the fluffies from the herd to kill the smarty and take his place. He also tells them of a “game” where they kill the smarty’s foals.

After the smarty is killed, the new one busies himself with the game and “gifts” Morgan to one of his subordinates. While being raped, Morgan sees a pair of scissors that were somehow right in front of her. She then uses them to cut off the rapist’s muzzle and cut off the new smarty’s legs before he gets to the last of her foals, Puffin.

The amputee smarty is left alive and then gets dragged by a house cat to its owner, who takes him in.

After some rest, Morgan sets out with Puffin on her back to the so-called fluffy city. The city is in a part of a protected park, so humans are not aware of it. The “city” is held together by tape and hope and has to be rebuilt every time it rains. In G27 we find out that Lego helped found it.

There, Morgan and Puffin meet two mares, Crystal and Grassy, together with their foals. She tries to form a herd with them, but is told that a mare can’t be smarty. She cuts off her mane with the scissors, also accidentally cutting her face (that’s where the scars come from), and from now on pretends to be a stallion. The new herd leaves the city.

Rage fluffy watches as Morgan meets the two mares. Seeing the city for the first time, he already has plans to burn it down. He didn’t watch the fight with the new smarty, only saw the aftermath. He is surprised to see organ with her scissors.

Some time later, Morgan’s herd is confronted by several fluffies from another herd, who claim that Morgan’s is eating their grass. Morgan is unwilling in engage in conflict and tries to de-escalate the situation. The one-eyed smarty doesn’t accept her “sorry” and is instead set on hurting her and her herd.

Meanwhile, rage fluffy is watching from the bushes. It’s likely that the “grass problem” is a lie, and rage fluffy incited the “Cyclops” to attack Morgan.

Morgan fights off the three fluffies that are with the one-eyed, but he then kicks the scissors out of her mouth and knocks her down. One of Crystal’s foals tries to protect Morgan, but the smarty breaks its back by picking up and dropping the foal. He then finds Puffin. Morgan enters “enraged mother” mode and kills him.

She is brought to the “hospitul” in the fluffy city, and the herd meets a garden fluffy, who joins them and helps with nursing Morgan back to health. They leave the city and set up a tent as their safe place. A few months later, the winter comes. Two more fluffies, sent by rage fluffy again, come and threaten Morgan’s herd with fire. Morgan scares them off by pricking them with the scissors.

However, the next night, their safe place is set on fire, as is the fluffy city. Grassy, Crystal, the garden fluffy and 2 foals die in the fire. One more foal dies after making it out. Morgan decides to bring Puffin to the man who bred her and abandons the rest of the foals.

When she makes it to the house, she has two broken legs, and is dead by morning. The man then receives a letter from rage fluffy, which proves Headache’s full involvement in all of Morgan’s troubles.

After half a year of living with his daddeh, Puffin loses him to a missile from rage fluffy. This was an idyllic part of his life compared to everything else that happens to him. Having ended up on the street, Puffin becomes the smarty of a herd, inheriting his father’s kindness and compassion.

It is presumably around this time that a cotton fluff breeder begins his work. 3 months later, rage fluffy joins him.

With this, we move onto the Goldie story. Let’s begin with her origins. Goldie was born in a feral herd, her father being the one-eyed smarty Morgan killed. He lost his eye when rage fluffy was shooting at the megaherd in Cleveland. Goldie’s mother loved her, but her father didn’t. He wanted a son, and so he saw Goldie as a “bad babbeh” for being a filly.

Soon after Goldie started to say her first words, he made a decision to abandon her. Despite the tears from both her mother and another fluffy that tried to care for her, Goldie still thinks that nobody loves her. So she decides that if no one cares about her, she won’t care about anyone other than herself either. It’s at this point that she chooses the name “Goldie” because “gold is valuable”. Goldie is picked up by a man who becomes her owner, and some time later, the first chapter of her story takes place.

Goldie lives with her owner, being a spoiled, selfish brat that constantly uses her loving owner. She spends time with a neighbor fluffy called Pegleg, whom she frequently abuses. Goldie is the only fluffy Pegleg knows, and so he is desperate for her approval. Because of Goldie’s “games”, Pegleg’s leg is amputated. At one point, Pegleg finds Runt and shows him to Goldie, who kills him. Eventually, Goldie kills Pegleg as well and moves on.

Soon after, Goldie and her owner move to a new home. Goldie spots Puffin’s herd nearby and decides to make Puffin her mate. She brings him sketties to make him interested in herself, but Puffin tries to share the food with his herd. This enrages Goldie and, during the following argument, Puffin says that he won’t go anywhere without his herd. So Goldie kills the herd while he sleeps.

Traumatized, Puffin stays in the alley, waiting for his herd to come back. Goldie doesn’t care and, in order to have him accepted at her home, rips off some of Puffin’s dirty fur with tape. She rapes him and soon after has sex with a neighbors pegasus. About a month later she gives birth to 4 foals and Puffin commits suicide. She also accidentally kills one of the foals, Beebow.

About 2,5 weeks later she crushes another foal, Chippy, for sneezing, and electrocutes Infanticide. This results in a fire, and Goldie leaves the last foal, Mercury, to burn. She moves to a hotel. Meanwhile, Mercury doesn’t die, ending up in a revenant-like state.

Two days later Goldie kills a feral family out of boredom. At night of the same day she is attacked by mercury and is killed. She receives judgment from fluffy god: to watch her victims live 10 lives of happiness. Her murders are undone, Pegleg, Runt and Goldie’s foals join Puffin’s herd. Infanticide mistakes antifreeze for soda.

It is unclear if Goldie’s victims remember what had happened to them. Mercury does, and is actually capable of going through wormholes to, presumably, the parallel universe where she and other Goldie’s victims are dead. 13 months after joining Puffin’s herd, she accidentally brings Runt through a wormhole.

One year later, fluffies are defined as people and are granted equal rights, despite Senator Sandworm’s opposition.

Two weeks later, Runt, Beebow, Chippy and 2 fluffies called Ribbon and Green buy a store thanks to the equal rights. Due to a propane leak, the store blows up on the next day. Everyone except for Runt dies.

Next known story, G27, takes place years later, and it brings us back to rage fluffy. At this point it’s been ~19 years since fluffies have been released, and rage fluffy has been imprisoned for 6 years after an arms bust. He meets Lego (the second known survivor from Batch 13). Lego is the ambassador from an autonomous fluffy settlement. He uses his authority to get rage fluffy out of prison and brings him to the fluffy colony. The colony happens to have been established in an area with a lot of mineral resources, which are the trump card in the fluffies’ relations with humans.

At this point, through selective breeding, the usual generation 12 fluffies evolved into the so called u12s, the “uplifted”. They are smarter and stronger than their predecessors, and, as a result, much more capable. In harder to survive areas, they outcompeted g12s into extinction. Meanwhile, the development of new generations still continued. At the time of this chapter, g27 is in development.

Coming back to the colony, it is inhabited entirely by fluffies, and is led by a council consisting of: surviving “delimited” (freed from limitations of their programming) fuzzies, 12 of the brightest u12s, the supergenius runt and Lego.

Rage fluffy stays in the colony, and this is where he finally finds peace. This is also where we find the end of the storyline.

The entire storyline spans almost 20 years and includes 9 or more stories. Out of all of them, we still have 8. There is evidence of a cottonfluff story featuring rage fluffy, and there is always a possibility of more missing stories. Still, we should be glad that, out of the ~600 posts KMEB had made on Fluffybooru, this much has been preserved.

Brilliant work, Elias. Speaking as a researcher, this is the kind of example I, as well as others, should follow. I really appreciate the level of effort you put into this research, and I hope that I can emulate this level of quality in future.

To be fair, I had worked on KMEB for several months. We can’t really spend that long on every notable creator xD.
