Our classroom fluffy (artist: Carpdime)

Since i do not see a “hugbox” tag on this, i think i can say this.

My opinion is that there is a 99% chance that
that fluffy gets killed during its first day at the school.

Or gets abandoned at the end of the school term.

Kids like things that are cute. Odds are at least one of them would want to take him home.

I think it would go like this:

The bells ring, and the kids run inside.

Then they notice the fluffy.

Almost everybody goes to pet it.

Then, there is a hole bunch of hands reaching for it.

They start picking it up, pushing each other to the side.

Camotion rises.

There accures a couple fights, ho can pet it first.

The kids squeese the fluffy in theyr hands while fighting, braking all of its bones.

It gets thrown a couple of times.

The fluffy is pancace.

The war goes on for a while, until they realize its dead.

While I agree, I can easily imagine a scenario where the kid forgets the fluffy somewhere, as happens with kids’ toys (which fluffies are) all the time, or even willingly discards it to go to his friends house for the first day of Summer break, and his friend’s mom won’t let him bring the fluffy. Kid has a brief battle with himself, a slight sense of guilt at abandoning a seemingly “living” creature, then leaves it.

Could be a good story maybe.

Yeah, but the difference is that most toys can’t say “Hey asshole, where do you think you’re going? Don’t leave me here, you dick!”

I like this idea. If a class can manage having a hamster for a pet, a fluffy would work too.

They could get rid of the old fluffy at the end of each school year or over Christmas break, depending on how quickly they reach maturity.

The number of scared, witless kids I’ve had to help working the gift shop at a theme park after getting distracted and separated… there’s no doubt in my mind it could happen to a fluffy. Especially if it’s one of those dumb, witless kid who’s supposed to be responsible for it.

That thing is gonna die. There’s gonna be one of those kids…

With the right circumstances and a fluffy that gets a good upbringing, keeping fluffies in daycares and school could be really helpful.

Help me with the HW, Lincoln.

As someone who once got lost in a theme park as a kid, I see your point.

I still have childhood trauma of my class killing our pet hamster when I was a kid. Might be a little less emotionally taxing if it were a fluffy.

Wouldn’t a classroom fluffy get disruptive?

Teacher: Alright students, welcome to your new school year! And since it’s a new year, you also got a new classroom fluffy! Say hello to Harris!

Harris: Hewwo wittwe hoomins! Nice tu meet ou!

Teacher: Okay, let’s start with biology. Today will be the first time you learn about the inside world of our bodies. So I brought a specimen we will dissect together…

Children: LINCOLN!

I could see this, but using micro fluffies with a sound proof terrarium for when class is going on.
