I saw @ambitiousleather8309 Fluffgonquin hotel horror prompt and figured I might try my hand at these community challenges.
I don’t know if this is scary, but I hope that it’s at least an enjoyable read.
“Be cawefuw” Smarty cautioned, as he watched his herd enter through a broken no see wall.
Each would make a soft frightened squeak as they fell from the no see wall, landing on a weird small box thing with holes. This box filled with strange white things. Soft white things that helped to cushion their fall. Cozy things that would be great for a nest, but not here.
Not in this room.
They had run into this very big housie to escape the sky wawa. It was hardest sky wawa they had ever encountered. So hard that it made the sky darkie and made the herd very cold and very wet. They had fled to this big housie to for shelter, but as the last of the herd had dropped into the housie, the sky wawa had stopped and the bright time sky light was back, illuminating their new surroundings.
Only slightly though.
Smarty found himself walking a few steps forward nervously, before the fear forced him to freeze on the spot. The darkness that covered most of the room, filling him with a certain kind of fear. The fear of the unknown.
The only light was from the bright time sky light, coming from the no see wall. A light that could only go so far. Smarty looked around. He could barely make out what he was seeing. Enormous boxes lined the sides with the circle in the middle of these boxes. Boxes with small circle legs. What bothered him was that nothing was happening. No noises. No munstahs making walkies. It made everything all the more confusing and scary, because he had no idea what was going on. This was not the forest. This was an unfamiliar place, and it only made everything scary.
“Su… Su… Cowdie” Smarty heard one of the Fluffies mutter.
Smarty turned back to see his herd huddled together. Shivering and cold. One of the foals stepped forward bravely, staring at Smarty with fearful eyes.
“Bab… babbeh su cowd”
Smarty nodded and looked back at the small box thing with holes and pulled on the strange white things inside. He was surprised as the white thing got bigger, and suddenly it was beginning to look a lot familiar. It was like the times when he would look at the hooman housies from the forest. He sometimes saw them hanging these white things during bright time. He still had no idea what it was used for, but it brought him a sense of comfort. Ease and familiarity.
He pulled on the white thing as his herd looked in awe, then begin rubbing his fur on the white thing, feeling less wawa on his fur. His herd was quick to follow, some pulling more of the white things out of the small weird boxie, whilst others gave the white thing huggies and nuzzles. The sound of cheerful laughter as the herd played and moved about.
From a brief moment things weren’t so scary.
Creak
An unfamiliar sound would bring the herd back to reality. Smarty was quick to go on alert and a couple of Fluffies did the same.
“Wat dat noisie?” Asked the Toughie.
“Babbeh hab scawdies mummah” One of the foals cried, huddling to its mummah for protection.
Smarty darted his eyes left and right, scanning for even the slightest of movements.
Crash
Something had fallen and in the darkness, something had moved.
Smarty’s survival instincts flared and at the far end of the room, he spotted an open door.
“Fowwow Smawty!” Smarty ordered.
He quickly ran towards the door and found that it led up.
“Hewd gu fiwst!” Smarty commanded.
While the herd ran up. Toughie guarded the door, looking out for whatever was in the dark. Meanwhile, Smarty looked at his herd, checking to make sure that no one was left behind.
Him. Toughie. Specaw fwen. The three other Fluffies. Four plus one babbehs.
Wait.
His herd was supposed to have four plus two babbehs.
One was missing.
He went back into the big scary room, looking around in confusion.
“Smawty!” Toughie exclaimed.
Toughie was pointing at a spot in the darkness, where he could just make about something yellow. It moved slightly and he could hear scared babbeh chirping.
“Toughie gu wit hewd! Smawty sab babbeh!” Smarty ordered.
Toughie nodded with a brave face, quickly going up to follow the herd, as Smarty prepared himself to go back into the dark, scary room.
“Smawty sab babbeh!” Smarty declared bravely as he ran back into the scary room.
He quickly ran for the babbeh, the yellow foal curled up with its weggies covering its see places.
“Smawty am hewe babbeh” Smarty stated as calmly as he could.
“Hu hu hu. Su scawdy” the babbeh muttered.
Smarty gave an understanding nod. He could understand the babbeh’s fear and he picked the foal up with his mouth, placing the terrified foal on his back.
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
A terrifying screech.
The sound of a Fluffy getting hurt.
An eerily familiar voice.
“Toughie!” Smarty cried out.
Smarty quickly rushed to the door. Only to be greeted by a horrifying sight.
“Tou… Toughie!?” Smarty cried out in horror.
Toughie was on the floor, but something was wrong. His eyes were wide opened, gazing upon nothing, as his mouth remained wide opened, permanently trapped in a scream.
Her head was all wrong. Bent at an odd angle. Twisted.
“Tou… Toughie?” Smarty called out with disbelief.
Smarty stepped forward and felt something wet splash onto his fur.
He could barely make it out in the darkness, but he saw something red.
He sniffed it carefully.
Blood.
He backed away in horror.
“Toughie hab… Hab Fo… Foebah sweepies!?” Smarty asked aloud.
Cheep cheep cheep
Smarty turned back to the big scary room.
There was something yellow in the darkness.
Something yellow and familiar.
He turned to his back. The foal wasn’t there.
The foal was still in the room.
Smarty stepped forward, ready to save the babbeh again, but he stopped.
He froze as he looked at the darkness.
The ever encompassing darkness that shrouded the room.
He stared at it.
And he swore.
It looked back.
A shiver ran down in his spine.
An overwhelming rush of fear.
Survival instinct kicked in.
Self preservation.
He took one last look at the foal, before turning tail and running.
He felt horrible for leaving the foal behind. The foal and Toughie, but he needed to go. The herd needed him. The herd and Specaw fwen.
He quickly rushed up the stairs.
He felt something behind him.
Something very close behind.
Something so close that it was almost touching his fur. Reaching towards him with long spindly arms. Crooked fingers so close that it was almost going to grab him and drag him into the abyss.
He almost slipped.
Something on the steps.
It smelled like poopies.
He had almost fallen, but managed to regain his balance.
He continued upwards.
He eventually reached the top.
His herd was not there. He was somewhere long and dark. At the far end a bright light.
He felt something behind him.
He dared not turn back.
Something with many sharp snarling teeth.
Something very, very close.
He ran.
Broke into a sprint.
Ran as fast as his legs could take him.
Yet he could still feel it behind him.
Sharp claws hidden in the darkness. Ready to slowly peel the fur from his body.
Run
Run!
RUN!!!
He could feel it.
So close to him.
He could feel the teeth ready to peel flesh from bones.
It was so very, very close.
He needed to run faster.
Faster
FASTER
FASTER OR HE WOULD
He made it.
Out the door and into a much brighter room. He turned back, expecting to see the scary munstah in the darkness, but there was nothing there.
He looked at the empty darkness in confusion.
He swore there was something.
He felt something ominous and foreboding.
He closed the door.
“Smawty!” He heard a familiar voice call out.
He turned to see his Specaw fwen and his herd. All his Fluffy fwens quickly gathered around to give him a hug.
“Smawty am safe!” Specaw fwen cried out with relief.
He relaxed slightly in their warmth. He was back with his herd. Back in the light. He was safe.
“Whewe Toughie?” Asked one of the Fluffies.
Smarty looked down. This feeling of heawt hurties and the feeling that he was a bad Fluffy.
“Toughie… Toughie hab foebah sweepies” Smarty stated weakly.
“Wut!? Wat happen!?”
“Smawty… Smawty dun kno. Onwy heaw shouties n… N den see Toughie… N boo boo juice”.
The herd looked at Smarty with horror, when suddenly one of the mares began looking around in confusion.
“Whewe yewwow babbeh!?” The mare cried out.
Smarty looked down in shame.
“Yewwow babbeh! Yewwow babbeh!” The mared crie out in a panic
“Yewwow babbeh am foebah sweepies” Smarty stated softly
The mare looked at Smarty in horror, and so did her specaw fwen. Smarty could only look at them with shame.
“Smawty… Smawty am sowwi, bu… bu babbeh… Smawty tink munstah…”
He couldn’t continue. The realization that he had left both a babbeh and Toughie at the hands of the darkie munstah.
The mare broke down in tears as her specaw fwen and her two babbehs hugged her.
The other Fluffies looked down with sad faces.
Smarty couldn’t say anything more. He felt too ashamed.
He felt like a bad Fluffy.
“Hewd nee tu be stwong” Specaw fwen stated firmly.
Smarty looked at her in surprise, but nodded in agreement, as the other Fluffies nodded too.
Specaw fwen was right.
This was not the first Fluffy of the herd to have forever sleepies, and it would not be the last.
The Herd needed to be strong.
“Smawty!” One of the Fluffies shouted.
Smarty turned his attention to the Fluffy, pointing to something. Soft things piled together along with bright colored fur and poopies on the side.
“Fwuffy nestie?” Smarty asked.
“Hewd nu mak dis nestie” The Fluffy stated.
Smarty looked around nervously.
He observed his surroundings carefully, finally able to focus on the new room. It was big and much brighter. Very big no see walls allowing the bright time sky light to shine everywhere. There were objects here that he was more familiar with. Tables and chairs.
Smarty never really knew why he knew the name of these objects. No one ever taught him. He just knew the name, but he was able to learn what they were used for. He had seen hoomans used them when he was in the forest. Hoomans sat on chairs and used tables to put nummies.
There were other familiar things too. Trees coming in from broken no see walls. Tree nummies scattered all over the floor. It brought Smarty a sense of comfort and familiarity, and made this room a lot less scary, but there were still the other Fluffies to deal with.
In the past, Smarty would have been happy. More Fluffies meant more fwens, but he learnt that not all Fluffies wanted to be fwens. Sometimes they did, but sometimes they were bad Fluffies who only wanted to give other Fluffies hurties. Smarty didn’t want to find out which kind of Fluffies these ones were.
“Hewd nee tu gu” Smarty ordered.
The herd followed without question, even the Fluffies who lost their baby. They knew to trust Smarty, because Smarty knew what was best.
“Whewe hewd gu nao?” Asked one of the Fluffies.
“Big housie nut safe. Munstah n oddah Fwuffies. No mowe sky wawa, bettah gu bac tu fowest”
The herd walked in the direction of the bright time sky, up to a door. A closed door. The Fluffies attempted to open the door, hitting it with their hooves, but the door remained closed.
“Y doorsie nu open?” One of the Fluffies asked.
“Smarty?” Another Fluffy asked.
“Smawty n hewd nee fin oddah way out” Smarty stated.
He looked around and saw another door, leading somewhere new. Another way out.
Hopefully.
“Fowwow Smawty”
The herd followed Smarty. They knew to trust his wisdom.
Through this big room filled with tables and chairs, they found themselves in a long room. It reminded Smarty of that place where he had to run.
Fortunately, there were no see walls, allowing the bright time sky lights to light everything inside. It certainly made everything feel less scary.
There were also interesting sights.
On one side were these pictures. Some recognizable. Big hills, fowests and wawa. Pictures filled with pretty colors. There was one scary picture. It was one of a hooman. It looked so real. Most of the hewd quickly ran past the picture, but Smarty stopped to stare.
It was a hooman with grey hair and a stern face. Just standing there and looking.
There was something about this picture that filled him with worry.
He kept looking at the pictures.
And it felt like
The hooman was watching him.
Smarty backed away in fear, bumping against his Specaw fwen.
“Smawty?” His Specaw fwen asked.
“S… sowwi” Smarty replied.
He looked back at the picture of the hooman. Nothing had changed.
Maybe he was thinking too much about it?
He looked around in confusion.
The herd was gone. It was only him and Specaw fwen.
“Whewe am hewd!?” Smarty cried out in a panic.
“Oba dewe” Specaw fwen replied.
She was pointing at an open door
“Oh” Smarty replied, as Specaw fwen grinned.
The two nuzzled each other before heading through the door.
A new room. Big like all the others in this housie.
Large no see walls allowed for plenty of the bright time sky light to come in, allowing for Smarty to see everything. A lot of chairs. Different from the ones in the previous room, but he knew they were chairs. There were also tables. Smaller ones, low enough that Smarty could climb up, but there were also many objects Smarty did not recognize. Things Smarty did not know what to call nor what to do with.
There was also a smell. A horrid stench. One that made him feel uneasy.
He ignored this feeling and focused on his herd. All of them crowding on one corner of the room.
“Wut am hewd doing?” He asked.
“Nummies!” One of the babbehs cried out with glee.
“Suuu yummy!” Another Fluffy cried out.
Smarty stared at them in confusion, looking to what they were eating. Nummies, but ones that he did not recognise. Small circle things and brightly colored. Yet again he somehow knew the name.
Kibbles.
Kibbles. Good nummies, but not as good as sketti. What even was sketti? It didn’t matter. He watched as his herd devoured the kibbles hungrily.
“Am suuuu sweet!” One babbeh cried out.
“N suu pwetty!” Another Fluffy added.
Smarty smiled. It made him happy seeing his herd happy, but he also felt uneasy, this feeling that something was wrong.
“Whewe fwen fin nummies?” Smarty asked
“Fwom baggie” one Fluffy responded.
The Fluffy pulled on a bag. A large one overflowing with this kibble. There were words on this bag.
F-L-U-F-F-I-
Fluffy?
“Oh!” Smarty exclaimed “Fwuffy!”
He certainly felt smart being able to understand that, but there were more words.
“Specaw fwen!!!” Specaw fwen suddenly cried out.
Smarty quickly rushed to Specaw fwen. Under one of the small tables and behind some chairs, only to be greeted by a grim sight.
Numerous Fluffies of pretty colors, scattered all across the floor.
“Specaw fwen… wat… wat happen tu Fwuffies?” Specaw fwen asked nervously.
Smarty walked toward one of the corpses.
A body laid on the floor.
Silent and unmoving.
There were white things on the fur. Small white things wriggling about.
Maggots.
They crawled amongst the Fluffy’s colorful fur, biting into the flesh. Gnawing on the body, as they burrowed deeper into the wounds, forming little nests. Laying their eggs among the warm red meat, as they slowly seeped the juice from their hosts.
It was not just one.
It was all these Fluffies.
An assortment of corpses scattered around. All long dead and slowly rotting. The flesh decaying and peeling from the bones as smaller creatures feasted on them.
Smarty backed away, turning back to Specaw fwen, only able to give her a worried look.
“Smawty… Smawty dun kno y aww Fwuffies hab foebah sweepies”
“Smawty?” One of the herd asked
“Y Smawty nu hab nummies wit hewd?” Another asked.
“Wa-”
Smarty turned to his herd. They had stopped numming to check on him, only to be greeted by this. Some just kept staring with scared looks, others looked to him for answer, just like Specaw fwen. Smarty just stared, then shook his head.
“Smawty dun kno” he said.
He didn’t like this. Not knowing what was going on.
What had given all these Fluffies foebah sweepies? Was it some kind of munstah? Where was this munstah now? Was going to give his herd foebah sweepies next?
Smarty didn’t want to wait to find out. For him and his herd.
They should never had gone into this housie.
No matter how hard the sky wawa was.
“Wets gu. Hewd nee tu gu out housie”
Smarty quickly left the room and the herd was quick to follow.
No more detours.
They needed to get out.
NOW.
Unfortunately, it was not so simple. Smarty knew that this housie was big, but it was starting to be clear to him that this had to be the biggest housie ever, because him and his herd had been walking for so many foebahs and they were still finding new things.
New rooms. New pretty things. New scary things that they didn’t understand.
One thing he noticed was that a lot of these rooms looked the same. Like almost the same, with a lot of unfamiliar objects that he knew the names to. Teebees and beddies. There were a lot of rooms that had these two things, along with tables and chairs.
Long rooms with many doorsies, and each doorsie leading to this kind of room. He figured that these were hooman nesties, but how many hoomans used to live in this housie, and more importantly.
What kind of munstah made all the hoomans leave?
Hoomans were already pretty scary munstahs, so this munstah must have been the scariest munstah ever.
Smarty did not want to find out.
Him and his herd really needed to leave, but how?!
There were just so many rooms and there were so many that looked the same. It was a maze and it was also getting dark.
Smarty looked at his herd. They all seemed just as scared and nervous as him.
Grrrrowl
Smarty froze, looking around with worry.
What the heck was that?
His herd looked just as scared and confused. All except Specaw fwen.
“Sowwi” Specaw fwen said with an embarrassed smile “Tummy huwties”
Smarty looked at Specaw fwen with surprise, before he broke into a grin. Some of the herd began to giggle.
Rrowl
The herd looked at Smarty with surprise, as Smarty made his own embarrassed grin. That sound had come from his tummy. He had tummy hurties too. He really should have eaten the kibbles with the herd.
Specaw fwen began to laugh, and soon all the herd did the same. All the Fluffies laughing. Smiling and nuzzling each other.
Smarty felt at ease.
He had started to get worried that this was it. This was where he and his herd would get foebah sweepies, but he had calmed down. Things were not as bad as they seemed. There was still some hope, because he still had his herd.
“Am gettin darkie nao, Smawty n hewd fin way out bigs housie next bwight time. Nee fin nummies n pwace fo nestie fo dis darkie time”.
“Otay!” The herd cried out in unison.
Things felt a lot better. This feeling of hope.
The herd was a lot less nervous.
They went into one of the rooms. The ones with a beddie, teebee, chair and table, and they set about turning the room into a nice nest.
Like they would always do, they would split into two teams.
Specaw fwen, one of the hewd, and four plus one babbehs were in charge of nestie making, gathering soft things under the beddie.
Meanwhile, Smawty headed out with the two others of the hewd. They were in charge of finding more nummies.
“Wets gu fwens” Smarty stated.
Out of the nestie room and into the long room with many doors, Smawty and his two fwens planned to go back to the scary room with the pretty kibbles. Drag the whole bag to this new nestie place.
It was a good plan, but there was one big problem.
Smarty had forgotten where the scary room was.
This big housie was so confusing. It was so big, with so many turns. So many rooms and many rooms looking almost the same. The other two Fluffies were just as confused.
They wandered the long rooms aimlessly, peering into rooms, hoping that it was the scary room with all the nummies. Smarty tried using the pretty pictures on the walls. He noticed that they were different and tried to use them as a way to know if he was going the right way, but there were so many pictures of so many things, and he had forgotten which pictures were near the scary room with kibbles.
“Weafy nummies!” One of his hewd exclaimed.
Smarty snapped out of his worry and turned to his fwens. The two Fluffies had gone through a weird door. A nu see wall door, and they had entered a very weird room.
Like any other room, there were walls with nu see walls, but there were no sky wall. A massive room with no sky wall. The sky clearly in view. A bright orange with white clouds.
There was also something different. Something very scary.
A massive hole on the floor. The biggest hole Smarty had ever seen. His two fwens were already by the hole and peering down.
“Sma… smawty… wo… wook”
Smarty approached peering down the hole. The wawa did not look pwetty. Not blue, but green and black. The kind of wawa that gave Fluffy sickies, but his attention quickly turned to the other colors. Red. Purple. Yellow.
Furry things floating in the wawa.
Other Fluffies.
“Wat happen tu Fwuffies?” One of his Fluffies asked.
This time Smarty knew. It was quite clear.
“Smawty tink Fwuffies feww in tu holesie. Got foebah sweepies becaw tu much wawa”
“Ohhhh” One of his Fluffies replied.
“Smawty am su smawt!” His other Fluffy exclaimed.
Smarty smiled. A small smile. It always did feel nice being called smart, but they needed to focus on finding nummies.
Fortunately, like his Fwuffies had said. There were leafy nummies. For some reason this room had trees. Not the big ones, but the short ones that sometimes had bewwy nummies. It would have been nice to have bewwy nummies, but Smarty wasn’t complaining. Good nummies was good nummies.
His two Fwuffies were already gathering leafy nummies, and Smarty looked at this room with a smile. This really big room was weird, but it wasn’t scary. The sky up top. Small trees. The holesie full of wawa. This honestly just felt like he was in the forest.
It felt comforting, but the feeling was fleeting.
The sky had turned an ominous orange, and the darkness was beginning to grow.
Smarty stared at one of the nu see walls, there seemed to be a room behind it, but it was dark. Smarty peered carefully. He swore he saw something.
He got closer and froze.
There was something there.
In the darkness.
He looked into the darkness and he swore he saw two eyes staring at him.
It was time to go.
Smarty quickly rushed to his two Fluffies, stood by the leafy nummies.
“Wets gu!” Smarty said with urgency “Hewe nut safe”
Neither of the Fluffies responded. They just stood there silently.
“Fwens?”
One of his Fluffies turned towards him, before both Fluffies suddenly collapsed on the floor.
“FWENS!?”
Smarty approached cautiously, but then his Fluffies began to shake.
Wild erratic movements.
They shook about unnaturally.
Their eyes rolling to the back of their heads.
Their mouths were opened, but neither spoke.
Neither even screamed.
Instead something white began to pour out of their mouths.
And then they just stopped.
Still and silent.
“FWENS!?”
Smarty approached cautiously.
He shook their bodies, but neither responded.
The remained motionless and silent, as blood began to leak out of their mouths.
They were dead.
Smarty stepped back in horror.
He had no idea what had just happened.
He had no idea what was going on.
Why did his Fluffies get foebah sweepies!?
He turned back to that no see wall.
He could barely see the two eyes in the darkness
He swore that they blinked.
He felt a chill run down his spine.
He needed to run.
Smarty bolted.
Through the nu see wall doorsie, and into one of the roomsies with many doorsies.
He had no idea where he was going.
He had no idea where he was.
But he knew he had to run.
He could feel it behind him.
A thousand eyes watching him, as a long shadowy hand got closer and closer.
Faster
Faster!
FASTER!
If the munstah caught him, it would do the same. Make him shake and make white sicky wawa. Give him foebah sweepies.
Then the buggie munstahs would come and slowly devour him.
He needed to survive for the rest of his herd, but where were they!?
Left into another long room with many doorsies.
Right into a big room with many tables and chairs.
He felt it behind him.
It was so close.
He could see them in the walls.
Eyes watching from the pretty pictures and the no see walls.
He didn’t know what to do.
“NU HUWT SMAWTY!” Smarty screamed.
“Smawty!!!” Cried out a familiar voice.
Smarty stopped, behind another doorsie was Specaw fwen.
“Specaw fwen!” Smarty cried out with glee.
He quickly rushed up to Specaw fwen, hugging his best girl tightly and knocking a babbeh off her back.
Cheep cheep cheep
The babbeh had fallen onto the floor tumbling slightly, making pained chirps, and Smarty stared at Specaw fwen in confusion.
“Y Specaw fwen hab babbeh?” He asked.
Specaw fwen began to cry, as she picked the chirping babbeh, rocking it gently to calm it down.
“Specaw fwen… y nu wit hewd?”
“Hewd… hewd hab foebah sweepies”
“Wat!?”
“Hewd… Dun kno wat happen. Hewd hab shakies, den… den…”
“Den mak whitey sicky wawa?”
Specaw fwen looked at him in surprise, but nodded.
“Hao… hao Specaw fwen kno!?” Specaw fwen asked in surprise.
“Happen to hewd wit Smawty tuu”.
Creak
An unknown noise. One that brought Smarty back to reality.
They were still there. The eye munstah.
Plus darkie time was almost here.
Darkie time was never safe for Fluffies out of their nest.
“Nee hidesie darkie time, den weave bad housie next bwight time”
Specaw fwen nodded in agreement, and put the babbeh on her back.
There was no time to feel saddies from losing all their fwens, they needed to focus on survival.
They went into another one of those rooms. The ones with a beddie, teebee, chair and table. The darkness was growing, so they worked quickly.
They pulled square soft things under the beddie, big, white things too. White things exactly like the stuff they landed on when they first arrived. The piled it all under the beddie and formed a small fluffpile. Smarty, Specaw fwen and babbeh.
It made Smarty sad, how little of his herd he had left, but at least he still had Specaw fwen.
The darkie time had arrived and Smarty could not see anything.
Darkie time was always a scary time, but it was not as scary as running from the munstahs.
He snuggled with Specaw fwen and babbeh.
He was hungry, but it was not the first time he had to go sweepies while hungry.
For a while he kept his ears peeled, listening for the sounds of any munstahs nearby.
The munstah in the darkness.
The munstah with many eyes.
He was starting to get an idea why all the hoomans left. This was a very bad housie filled with munstahs. He should have never brought his herd here.
He focused on a familiar sound.
The sound of Specaw fwen and babbeh breathing softly. A comforting noise. A familiarity that put him at ease. He closed his eyes.
“Specaw fwen wak uppies”
Smarty opened his eyes in surprise.
He looked around in confusion.
He could see the room outside the beddie.
It was bright time.
He quickly crawled out of the beddie, Specaw fwen followed too.
Cheep cheep cheep
Babbeh was making distressed noises. It was hungry.
Smarty and Specaw fwen looked at each other with worry.
“Babbeh nee miwkies” Specaw fwen stated.
Smarty nodded in agreement, but where were they going to find miwkies? Specaw fwen made no miwkies because she had no babbehs yet.
Smarty didn’t know what to do.
He looked about in a panic, trying to find something that would quickly solve the solution, but nothing. Like everything in this horrible housie. It was all so confusing. Things he had no understanding of.
He was starting to think that this was not a housie at all.
Maybe it was actually a munstah. A munstah that gave hurties to the thinky place and then gave foebah sweepies like all the other Fluffies of the hewd.
Smarty wanted to cry.
He never should have come here.
He never should have brought hewd here.
Specaw fwen nuzzled him.
“Specaw fwen am otay?” She asked.
Smarty shook his head.
“Nu… Smawty am nut smawty… am dummeh. Dummeh Fwuffy da-”
“Nu!” Specaw fwen suddenly exclaimed “Smawty am smawty… ju… ju… housie am meanie, n Fwuffies nee weave housie”
Smarty gave Specaw fwen a thankful smile, nuzzling her as thanks.
Cheep cheep cheep
Desperate chirping from the babbeh. A reminder that they needed to focus on survival.
“Smawty n Specaw fwen nee fin way out housie, den nee fin way tu get miwkies fo babbeh”
Specaw fwen nodded with agreement, then put the babbeh on her back.
Smarty took point, out their nestie room, back to another long room with many doorsie.
Smarty took note of the pretty pictures this time.
A picture of a red and yellow fishy.
Rrowl
Smarty looked at Specaw fwen with an embarrassed smile. It was his tummy.
“Smawty hab tummy huwties”
Specaw fwen nodded in agreement “Hab tummy huwties tuu”
“Wets fin nummies fiwst”
Smarty led the way, through another long room with many doorsie, and up to a familiar nu see wall doorsie.
They were back in the big room. The one with no sky wall and the big hole with wawa. Their two Fwuffy fwens were still there. Still and silent.
Smarty looked around, trying to see if the eye munstah was around, but it didn’t seem to be here, putting Smarty at ease.
Smarty and Specaw fwen nummed the leafy nummies. Nummed enough to make their tummy hurties go away and then some.
Cheep cheep cheep.
A reminder of responsibility.
Babbeh was still on Specaw fwen’s back and desperate for miwkies.
“Weally nee tu fin way out housies” Specaw fwen stated
Smarty nodded in agreement. They really needed to find a way out.
Through the no see wall doorsie, and across one of the rooms with many doorsie.
As they wandered aimlessly, Smarty made sure to look at the pictures. There were alot of pictures of trees, wawa and big hills, but there were different pictures too.
A picture of dark blue with many white spots.
A pwetty hooman in bwue.
A colorful birdie.
Smarty looked around, trying to see if there were other objects that could help him remember where to go. He remembered that there were different kinds of chairs, and different objects had different shapes.
A big chair.
A circle thingy with a straight thing?
A table, but it didn’t have weggies like normal tables, rather it hard circle things.
Another boxie thing
A really long chair.
A short table.
A white face with two black eyes.
What?
Smarty turned back in confusion.
He swore he saw something at the far end of the room.
He swore he saw a munstah.
But there was nothing there.
“Specaw fwen?” Specaw fwen asked.
Smarty looked at her in confusion.
“Di… did specaw fwen see munstah?”
“Munstah!?”
“Obah dere”
Smarty pointed to where he saw the munstah, but Specaw fwen looked confused.
“Fwuffy nu see any ting”
Smarty looked back at the spot in confusion.
There really wasn’t anything there.
“Smawt-”
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Smarty watched in horror as the foal’s eye suddenly exploded. A red mist of blood bursting from the eye, as the foal collapsed on the floor.
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The foal writhed around in agony, as Smarty and Specaw fwen looked at each other in terror.
The Fluffy picked the foal up and gave it a hug.
Hugs were supposed to make it feel better, but the foal only screamed.
Screamed as the blood pour out of its eye.
Then it stopped.
It stopped screaming.
It stopped moving.
It stopped living.
Specaw fwen was crying, as she tried to hug the foal all better, but Smarty knew better. Smarty knew that it was gone. He had no idea what happened. He had no idea what had done this, but he knew that it was time to go.
“Wun!” Smarty screamed.
Smarty sprinted forward. Across the room with many doorsie.
He turned back to check to on Specaw fwen.
Specaw fwen close behind.
A white face and two black eyes peered from the corner.
It took all Smarty’s strength not to scream.
Faster
Faster!
FASTER!
They ran as fast as they could, and a certain picture caught Smarty’s eye.
A picture of a red and yellow fishy.
“Fowwow Smawty!” Smarty screamed.
He ran through a door.
Inside a very familiar room.
A teebee, a chair and a table. A beddie with soft things underneath. Their nest.
The nestie was always a safe place.
Smarty and Specaw fwen, quickly dove under the beddie. They quickly curled up together underneath the beddie, using some of the soft things to block the space between their nestie and the rest of the room, and then they waited.
This was always the best move.
Hide and wait for the munstah to go away.
They waited patiently and silently.
They waited for what felt like foebah.
And then they waited some more.
They really didn’t want to leave their nest. It was safe in here.
It was-
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Specaw fwen had suddenly been pulled out of the nestie, and Smarty was left stunned.
“SPECAW FWEN!” Smarty screamed.
He quickly crawled out of the nestie.
SLAM
Smarty scrambled out of the beddie and ran for the doorsie, but it was closed.
Smarty quickly started hitting the doorsie.
“Specaw fwen! Specaw fwen!”
GOD is coming
Smart looked around in confusion. What was that?
Not important.
He needed to save Specaw fwen.
God IS coming
He ignored the voice, he began hitting the doorsie with his hoofies. Trying to open the doorsie by giving it the worstest hurties ever, but nothing.
God is COMING
Again?
Who said that?
Smarty looked back into the room. There was no one there.
He turned back to the doorsie.
He needed to focus. He needed to save Specaw fwen.
GOD is coming
God IS coming
Smarty turned back into the room, trying to figure out who said that.
God is COMING
“Who sa dat!?” He screamed in fright.
No response.
GOD is coming
God IS coming
God is COMING
Smarty ran around the room, trying to figure out where the voices were coming from, but he could not see anyone.
He could only hear the voices.
GOD is coming
God IS coming
GOD IS COMING
He looked around frantically, trying to figure out what was happening.
He didn’t understand.
HE REALLY DIDN’T UNDERSTAND.
GOD is coming
God IS coming
GOD IS COMING
WHAT WAS GOD!?
Smarty quickly pulled one of those soft, square things and buried his head underneath.
GOD is coming
God IS coming
GOD IS COMING
“PWEASE NU HUWTIES!” Smarty screamed
GOD IS HERE
Smarty hated this. The overwhelming voices.
GOD IS HERE
Who was God and why was he here!?
GOD IS HERE
He closed his eyes and stayed quiet.
GOD IS HERE
It was the only thing he could think to do.
GOD IS HERE
Close his eyes and wait for God to go away.
GOD IS HERE
He waited and waited.
Silence
He peered outside of the soft, square thing nervously.
His heawt was beating so fast.
There was nothing there.
He looked around in confusion.
Nothing.
He turned around.
“He… hewp”
Smarty turned around.
Specaw fwen was behind him. Her tummy sketti all out.
She stared at him in terror, and that when he noticed it.
Sat atop the beddie.
A white face.
Two black eyes.
Smarty froze.
His heawtie place was beating so fast.
His thinky place dizzy.
His weggie weak.
Then everything went dark.
A painful flick.
“Owwies!” Smarty screamed.
Smarty looked around in confusion.
He was not in the nestie room.
The sky was above him.
He was outside.
He was not alone.
There was a munstah in front of him.
A munstah he had never seen in his life.
Not a barky munstah.
Nor a scratchy munstah.
Nor a hooman.
A white face.
Two black eyes.
Light brown around the eyes.
A white beak.
“Pwease nu huwt Smawty!”
Suddenly Smarty felt something pull on his tail.
He looked back in horror.
Behind him was something familiar.
The really big hole.
He was not outside.
He was in the room with the big hole full of wawa.
And something was pulling him into the hole.
“SABE SMAWTY!”
Smarty tried to pull himself forward, but his tail felt heavy, and his hooves slide against the floor.
Something was pulling him into the hole.
“NU WAN FOEBAH SWEEPIES”
Smarty desperately tried to step forward, only to find himself closer and closer to the edge.
“NU! NU! N-SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”
Smarty slipped and descended into the hole.
Splash
He hit the wawa.
“WAWA AM BAD FO FWUFFY!” He managed to scream.
The munstah was watching him.
Watching as he sunk.
Soon the green and black wawa was all he could see.
He hated the feeling as it covered him.
He hated the hurties as it entered his mouth.
He hated the agony of foebah sweepies.
But soon he hated no more.
If you’re wondering where God is coming is from.
