The human was there, in the shadows, crouched, without any of the human not-fluff on. It was
staring, smiling in an unnatural, horrific way. The stallion could tell it was a stallion
human, and it made no sound, no motion. Just stared.
This image is exactly what I imagined when I read this part in Chapter 1.
