Eyelashes to female Fluffies have been added @Rampage
Big update today; added a lot to the city route, including some branching paths.
Right now there are four ways to get your Fluffy in the human route:
- Fluffmart
- Shelter
- Forest
- City
Each have their own caveats; basically I want them to feel different in terms of how they develop, and not just be a different coat of paint on the same mechanics. Today was improving the City route a lot, with a couple branching paths leading to rolls which check as to whether a player succeeds; the more successes, the more “rolls” they have with trying to find a Fluffy, similarly to the Forest scenario. I figure if the player isn’t going to pay for a Fluffy in the forest or city, there’s going to be failure possibilities. The shelter and Fluffmart are for people who don’t want to take risks.
But yes. Lots of writing today, and small amounts of coding: these are good things.
Been looking at what you have so far and I REALLY like it but… How do I actually BUY or grab the fluffy?
Whether it be at the store or in the wild I can’t seem to figure out how to ACQUIRE the lil bastards… am I just dumb or is there a glitch maybe?
You’re doing nothing wrong, actually! Because of how I’m developing things, the only thing I’ve actually completed in the sense of “you’re done, you’ve got your Fluffy” is the Forest route on the Human route.
Ideally, the structure is like this:
- Acquire a Fluffy
- Find one in the forest
- Find one in the city
- Buy one from Fluffmart
- Buy one from the Shelter
- Go through day-to-day with your Fluffy
- Roll from a pool of daily events
- On the next day, deal with the consequences, advance event chains, or roll for new ones
I haven’t finished all the branches that complete “Step 1”, so everyone can lock in a Fluffy. I haven’t started on “Step 2” at all. Right now I’m finishing up the City route, have “finished” the Forest route (as in, you can get to a screen that says “congrats, this is your Fluffy” but nothing else) and I’m getting to the point of Fluffmart where you can see Fluffies in tanks, but not “claim” them.
Oh that makes me feel SO MUCH better!
I’ve been browsing fluffy games recently and I was really worried I was going to have to wait until I have a computer to look at it.

Well, there’s a mature content warning for a reason, I guess. I’ll probably be having Fluffy sex-related events in most routes, but not sure if we’re going to get Controversial.

Walking got added a little more than a week ago but have got refined a bit. I’ve been experimenting with them but since they’re not really useful for anything (only illustrating when a Fluffy would be walking) I’m not focusing too heavy on them at the moment.
They’re a nice bonus, but mostly just going to be used for the tank Fluffies in Fluffmart, or if I get ambitious and make a safe room diorama.
I won’t lie, I’m super excited for the fluffy pov to get unlocked.
And I know it’s a long shot, but is there any way you could add Micros to the store option. I think it would be great to have a pocket sized fluffy to take on adventures. ![]()
Thanks! I’m kind of excited to finish the Human side of things because I think it’s ironically the most complicated (except if I do the Smarty Route I want to). The Fluffy side of things will be much more linear/straightforward.
Messed around with a lot of art stuff today, and if I’m feeling ambitious, may have something more to add eventually when it comes to visual stuff:
Did some organization of files the other day; I’ve been working on some personal stuff lately so I haven’t touched this in a couple days, but I feel determined to spite the “no fluffy game gets finished” curse and banish it to the aether realm.

Been spending some time trying to get momentum writing again; I’ve also spent a little bit of time today working on a shop interface for Fluffmart, but having trouble with the Inventory system I’m using (dev’d by someone else) because I can’t seem to change the strings for a “cart” — instead of saying “Your inventory is empty” like normal, I want to be able to say “Your cart is empty.”
I had a moment yesterday where I really wanted to just scrap everything I’d done up until this point and start over fresh, but this morning I’m resolving to finish what I started. Feature creep really sucks, and there’s a lot of parts I’m sitting here and going “ugh, I don’t really want to write all this text for all these possibilities” but at this point it’s the principle of completing this.
Will this game have alicorns and runts? They’re my favorite. Good work btw!
Alicorns yes, runts, no. Basically I’d like to keep things focused to the “main races” because every variation is expected to have its own different text, and writing a thousand if race is [alicorn], display [unique text for alicorns] basically bloats the script up considerably.
Alicorns themselves may not be part of the Fluffy scenario due to their unique qualities around how other Fluffies treat them; it would essentially have to be its own unique branch, and that’s not something I think I have the bandwidth for at the moment.
