So been thinking about this since before we got this site really working , but anyway.
Do yall think it’d be feasible, given my HC of cannibal fluffs being at least in some way genetic to have a designer Alicorn and a feral cannibal to be bred (either naturally or artificially) to create essentially designer cannibal fluffs, how do you guys think the designer mother would handle everything, do you think she’d try to kill the “munstah babies” after they begin showing cannibal traits?
Really looking for any advise/ideas to flesh this story out more so I can start writing it lol
Could swap and make the mom a cannibal. I think the HC of cannibal chirpies eating each other or eating their way out of mom could make it necessary for genetic uterine reinforcements.
Conversely, giving the cannibal (male or female) a strong attachment to their mate and dedication to keeping them safe and unharmed/unthreatened by them or their babbehs could be an interesting character exploration
I think the thing i love the most about a community built around a malleable hive head canon is that it’s a little like we all have the same box of legos. In truth you can do whatever you want with the exact same blocks and it will always be in your style. If the blocks fit then you must acquit, etc.
Tl;Dr: if you think it will work and if you think it would be fun, go for it.
Cannibal fluffs are painfully edgy and unenjoyable to read about 99% of the time. The only thing worse than them are those Mary Sue/Gary Stu “hunting friends”, which are painfully edgy and unenjoyable to read about 100% of the time.
If you could somehow avoid the edgy OC DONUT STEEL shit, maybe it would turn out interesting.
My advice if you do decide to try this is make them fluffies first, cannibals second. Don’t do any edgelord “I WILL PLAY IN YOUR GUTS” crap, none of that sadistic killer nonsense.
They should think, speak, and act just like any other fluffy. The only difference would be an uncontrollable urge to try and feed on other fluffies (including other cannibal fluffies, because again, they’re still fluffies).
I find it baffling that people call cannibal Fluffies edgy on the Edgy Pony Torture website. Like… Fluffies suffering is the selling point. Getting eaten by predators is just another way for Fluffies to suffer.
It’s creating “fluffies” that are edgelord OC donut steel Mary Sues/Gary Stus that’s the problem. That’s not “fluffies getting eaten by predators”, that’s “OMG LUK AT MEH KEWL OC!!1!!”.
Real carnivores exist. Plenty of stories utilize them to prey on fluffies. Hell, even Puffy Griffins work as predators because they aren’t usually portrayed as edgelord “SOOPER KEWL” DeviantArt rejects.
Not to mention, most stories including “cannibal fluffies” focus on them and not the normal fluffies.
I haven’t heard anyone unironically use the term “Mary Sue/ Gary Stu” since the early 2010s, and that goes for that donut steel kewl whatever misspellings too.
Like, I’m genuinely struggling to understand what the hell you’re even trying to say. Who cares if someone makes a Fluffy character that eats other Fluffies? They’re not bothering anyone. If that’s what they enjoy writing about, who gives a shit? Mute the cannibal fluffy tag if you’re so riled up about it.
Everyone who’s here to read stories about fluffies hates it and is bothered by it.
No one wants to read about some edgelord fluffy-in-name-only trouncing other fluffies and not being abused or killed itself. That’s stupid.
The only cannibal Fluffies I’ve seen are Crimson, Scarlet and the Kelpie Fluffs and from reading the comments, they’re pretty popular. Hell, this post alone disproves your “everybody hates cannibal Fluffies” thing. Why would anybody want to write about it in the first place of its as unpopular as you claim?
Once again, if you hate cannibal Fluffies so much then MUTE THE FUCKING CANNIBAL FLUFFY TAG.THAT’S WHAT THE TAG SYSTEM IS FOR. TO HIDE POSTS YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE.
Those are the only three exceptions. Crimson and Scarlet are actual characters with unique backstories and motivations, and kelpiefluffies are based off a real mythical creature.

Because edge comes in different types and quality. Abuse is horror movie/torture porn edge like Saw and Hostel. Cannibal fluffies are almost always Cold Steel fuckers with about as much self awareness
That’s actually a big plan of mine lol, the goal involved especially is going to be basically indistinguishable from any regular fluffy minus the meat eating aspect, if anything they may lean a bit toward the Alicorn/poopie trope issue a bit much, but I’m trying to find a way around most tropes I’ve seen lol
