Hard to believe it’s been 10 months since I did the first one of these. Time flies, huh?
I know a lot of people don’t like subspecies, but A) Dragon Fluffies are an idea I’ve seen bounced around a couple of times, and B) I’m sick of drawing bad things happening to foals and wanted to take a break to do something a bit nicer (comparatively). If you don’t like subspecies, that’s entirely valid; this is just a one off to stretch the creative muscles.
Also, Za’s guide to subspecies doesn’t exist yet so anarchy reigns.
I got a bit carried away, length got a bit out of hand and to be honest I could have done more, I was just losing interest. I’d like to give a thanks to @AmbitiousLeather8309 , @TheMan , @FederalChemical1728 and @Julie for feedback on the art front, and @PonePone for the same plus giving some useful pointers on the descriptive side of things.
Yeah my handwriting is ass, at this point it’s a lost cause.
Also, I promised my friend I’d float the idea of opening commissions when I’d finished with this - don’t know how hard I’d want to go on that, or whether I’m at the point where I’m happy enough with my art, but for the time being, on the off chance anyone has any interest, DM me and we’ll work it out there. Otherwise, business as usual.
As always, feedback and/or critique is both welcomed and invited.
I’ve got your ass, nigga. Lmfao
The fact you actually mentioned me by name gave me a good chuckle, therefore I will refrain from kicking the shit out of you or speaking poorly of your subspecies.
We’ll see how far this goodwill stretches when I start submitting new subspecies until the guide is done, each better and more bleach-immune than the last
I wonder how mant foals get their eyes poked out by siblings’s horns since fluffies lack the object permanence to know they’re swinging their horns behind their head.
Man when I first read the title I thought “Who the chucklefuck that thought this was a good idea to create a breed of fluffy that had fire-breathing powers???” Like that was not a disaster waiting to happen. Fortunately they won’t cause massive property damage and/or serious harm to anyone with their glitter breath. Granted glitter breath attack still sound like something to wouldn’t want in your face.
Now that one detailed proposal and I had a bit of a chuckle at the point where they mention how delicious these fluffs are. I also like the tidbit about how they’re less maternal instinct stemming from fluffy love for cute/pretty things. Like until they hatch the mother has little intrest in her offspring which in turns mean the subspecies have low numbers.
“Could you not find a more deserving fluffy?” I love whoever this reviewer is, they got their head on straight.
“Dragon Fluffies reverting to self-harm” very interesting! I guess if they’re capable of this, they might be capable of learning healthier ways to self-regulate. I hope he got intervention.
I normally have nothing but visceral, violent hatred for fluffies… but I kind of want a dragon fluff. And fuck you, I’m an adult; make me a dragon fluffy geared towards adults. I want my little monster exhaling liquid nitrogen and mauling the neighbor with its razor-tail.
this is cool! oh i love how thought out the idea is and how much time you clearly put into it, oh its lovely! i’m imagining all the abuse and hugbox these guys could be used for! awesome!
