How about if I talk with you good people and explain that respect is important here, and I mention that I expect you to be respectful of one another?
Not every issue requires new rules to be laid.

For what? You had a very reasonable point.
All I did was shift it from a hard-and-fast Rule to a softer Suggestion.
If we have a new Rule then everybody HAS to follow it.
But if I make a Suggestion, then you’re all able to talk with me and tell me where the suggestion is overreaching.
