Sweets are no where near as wide spread as fluffies so ferals/strays are rarer but they do still sometimes escape, get lost, or get dumped by their owners. Issues that fluffies suffer do occasionally show up since Sweets were made using them as a base, they’re just not as common and more stable since Sweets are being bred and produced by a single company. It’s considered copy right infringement to breed them without directly working for the company, the company is just as strict as Nintendo when it comes to that. Some troublesome goat like behaviors can end up showing up as well, such as head butting, a tendency to climb things, and unneutered bucks will sometimes get the urge to pee on themselves so breeding studs have to be trained out of that young.
I don’t intend to do a huge amount with them other than them showing up in some stories and art. They’re actually something I made when I was in middle school far before I found fluffies and the similarities were pretty interesting to me. I did change their origin obviously to fit the fluffy universe but other than that, they’re pretty well the same as when they were first created. They’re mostly just intended to flesh out the world because there’s no way there aren’t other bio pets/toys that companies have made.
Though, I’m certain abuse does happen to them considering their similarities to fluffies but it’s less common simply because they are more expensive and not as easy to obtain as fluffies.
